I am Spider-Man

Kind of like how Tony announced he's Iron Man back in the first Iron Man.

I mean it's not hard to figure out since everywhere Peter goes Spiderman pops up

I'm sure you could find many showing every day that isn't sold out.

It would be like this:

quote:

My name...is Peter Parker, and I have been Spider Man since I was 15

In this universe, we don’t get the payoff shot of J Jonah Jameson stroking out while watching the presser. Which was probably the only good point of Spidey revealing his identity IMHO.

This movie will get a massive Endgame bump. I'm thinking 1.5 billion is a realistic scenario.

I think the FF is before X-Men. Mr Fantastic has to buy Stark Tower, right?

I know, right. Marvel will have 3 films make over a billion at the box office.

if you guys are worried about charisma carrying a franchise- I guess it depends on who they get...but Mr. Fantastic is a boring, brainy character in the comics. Not sure anyone can make any of the FF that likeable.

Bingo. Short of having had heart/brain surgery on the 25th, if someone is a "super fan" and they still haven't seen it by now, then I'm calling bullshite on one of two things:

Their fandom, or their alleged "outrage" at spoilers after the embargo.

They don’t need to create a Tony Stark v2.0. They’ll fail at that.

Ben Grimm has been a fan favorite for almost 60 years. Johnny Storm is one of the most engaging characters in the Marvel Universe.

Which is pretty much how it worked out with the 2000s films...

Chris Evans as Torch and Michael Chiklis as Thing were about the only two casting decisions which worked.

Jessica Alba as Invisible Woman was godawful in particular and I didn’t think much of their casting of Mr Fantastic or Doom either.

Johnny if done right could be pretty damn likeable or he could turn out to be a total frat bro

What about War Machine? Isn't he like Iron Man in most ways?
Though I know he couldn't carry a movie, he seems like the "next" Iron man.

Rhodey is a mirror image Iron Man.

He is a good flyer and tactician but, historically, he was at a disadvantage compared to Tony because he wasn’t an engineer and was unaware of a number of the features Tony installed in the suit.

This may have changed in more recent years but it was the characterization of him during his main IM run in the 1980s.
