The first two spiderman movies were good. The third killed the role and forced the reboot. The first reboot was okay, the second was FF bad.
Tom Holland has been great.
I'm looking forward to the MCU fantastic four.

What about War Machine? Isn't he like Iron Man in most ways?
Though I know he couldn't carry a movie, he seems like the "next" Iron man.
Rhodey doesn't have the genius intellect. Spiderman is smarter than Rhodey but he doesn't have the leadership abilities of Tony or Steve

Pretty much.
Spidey is about as close as you will get for a variety of reasons with Tony, Thor, and Cap unavailable and Hank Pym clearly in retirement.
Professor Hulk could do that role but people would be wary of him reverting to the more primitive version of himself.

Spider-Man always had a little mysticism to jump into with Madame Web, Judas Traveller, Kraven, and the Vampires.
The Other went full animal Totem. And they ran with that until Civil War and one more day:(.

Chris Evans as Torch and Michael Chiklis as Thing were about the only two casting decisions which worked
How hilarious would it be for Marvel to sign Evans to reprise his role as Johnny?

While hilarious, I don’t think it would work.
Johnny and Spider Man are supposed to be roughly the same age. Chris Evans doesn’t look like a teenager or a guy in his low 20s.

'memba when Spidey had to sub at Avengers Academy?
ETA: "Look to your left, now look to your right, the person on both sides will be killed to make Arcade a threat again."

If you're talking about who could do what Tony Stark does from a intellectual and technical side, then that answer is very easy. It's Shuri. I would imagine all Avengers will get their upgraded suits and features from her. From a leadership standpoint, i don't know. I would hope Nick Fury gets a bigger role in all the movies going forward to help with that.

Yep.
The F4 are time/space/multiverse adventurers.
They form the Future Foundation for the main timeline/earth, with Peter leading it.
Kang is the next “big bad”
Can’t wait.

The leader of the Avengers tends to be either the smart guy (Tony) or the natural leader (Cap) with the occasional strong guy (Thor) thrown in.
Departing from that can work out well (Wasp and Hawkeye as leader) or poorly (Vision, Monica Rambeau, and Dr Druid as leaders).
Spidey is kind of the default choice in universe because the remaining contenders generally spent years on the lam (Bucky, FalconCap, Black Panther) because they were on the wrong side of the superhero Civil War.

Trailer looks good. Im ok with them brining in Fantastic 4, I don't want them to bring in the Xmen, as then that will have to now become the center of the universe. Dr. Strange and Black Panther has a lot of potential and I don't want to see that wasted just so we can get the Xmen shoe-horned into the universe.
Spiderman is a fun character, It will be fun seeing his growth ans progression from Civil War to here.

I agree but Rudd is 50
Maybe in human years, but in Paul Rudd years he’s still 30

Wouldn't Strange be the logical choice then? He's the closest to Tony as far as intelligence/attitude.

The Sorcerer Supreme is supposed to be focusing on cosmic level threats and not typical stuff.
Which is comics-speak for “They don’t know how to keep him from just magic-ing them to victory”.

Well that begs the question of who are the post Endgame Avengers and what is their mission? Where is HQ?
“Building a suit of armor around the world” seems like a good place to start.
So does “Protecting your reality, douchebag”
Other than Hulk, I’d say nearly every remaining character isnt a safe bet.
I’d say the core team minus Danvers”Space Avenging” consists of:
Hulk
Scott
Hope
Wanda
Nu-Vision
Falcon-Cap
Rhodes
Valkyrie
If HQ is still in upstate New York.
If on Beaker St or Wakanda, obviously some changes would be made.

Is this trailer going to be attached to anything in theaters this week?
I understand they lifted the "spoiler ban" and they have that little disclaimer in the front for those that are watching it online, but it seems crazy that they're releasing this trailer that spoils the ending of Endgame in theaters this soon after release.
But I guess based on the box office numbers, if you haven't watched Endgame at this point, you probably don't care that much.

The main HQ is toast and unless Pepper throws Stark Industries resources into it, I doubt it gets rebuilt.
My guess is they go back to the tower from the first film if it still exists. (I remember it being beaten up during the birth of Vision but that the upstate facility replaced it by the end of Ultron)
As far as the team goes, Spidey and FalconCap are a given. Scott and Hope are likely. Wanda seems a given. Rhodey may be semi-retired. Valkyrie is likely semi-retired since she is the current ruler of Asgard.
The idea would likely to have Spidey, FalconCap, Winter Soldier, Professor Hulk, Wanda, Scott, and Hope as the main team while Dr Strange, Panther, Valkyrie, and others would be in reserve in case the shite hits the fan.

No way they don't bring Carol into a bigger role. I could see Peter being the new Tony and Carol the new Steve

Carol is basically a Green Lantern in this universe, a space cop patrolling a huge amount of the universe.
They can make shite up to call her in for but having her as a day to day member sucks from a storytelling perspective because she’s a boring invincible hero.
