so we have smartphones, cars from 70s-80s, and it seems almost everyone has a bad 70's haircut.

As soon at the lady put a lump of coal in that stove you knew some other shite was about to get burnt in that fire.

And now they're doing the same with severance: treating trauma large and small.
The xmas room where she writes thank you notes for eternity (when we found out previously how much she hates doing that)...the dentist's office (though not an explicitly enumerated fear/anxiety, it's very common)...
I think the idea of Cold Harbor being the "exposure therapy" treatment for death/grieving is probably pretty close.

The idea that a world where everyone has an innie that only experiences the horrors big and small of life is crazy.
I mean this show really presents some insane moral questions. Questions that I’m not sure have really been explored mainstream before. It is SO refreshing to see good and original content that is thought provoking too.
This is entertainment firing on all cylinders and we have been so starved for this for years.

Now whether or not Gemma actually dies in Cold Harbor, we shall see, but I like the theory that Mark is unknowingly working on killing his wife when he completes Cold Harbor.
When she enters, the Cold Harbor testing room door is closed permanently and the only Gemma remaining is the innie Cold Harbor Gemma that is put back into "existence". That's as far as I am though.

This is what hooked me in S1. It has some really dark questions about morality and existence. If I were an innie, I'd off myself just to give a middle finger to my outie. You think you can trap me here? Nah, we're both going down.

I'd love to see the aftermath of everything getting shut down and full blown probe into WTF was going on with Lumon behind closed doors and who allowed it to happen. Huge cult investigation.

I haven't noticed, or just don't remember seeing anyone text. When Devon was trying to call Cobel, I was like, just text her.

Looks like 6 pieces based on the cutter. On what could possibly be a “fetid moppet”?

I think - maybe - we end up with innie-Gemma just awakening from the crash that killed her. And all the outside world is WTF?!? Re-integrated Mark especially.

Diethyl Ether = Deiter Eagan = Kier high on Ether going buck wild in the woods spilling his lineage into the soil.
I think a possible point towards the kiers “innie” in the woods theory

Also I did not notice the smaller script on a lot of the awards in Harmony’s house in season 1 or Sissy’s house in this past episode. They’re just as ridiculous as finger traps and caricatures.
Lumon loves their bullshite awards.
I think some of them were like “best use of lunchtime condiments” and “most observant”

Severance is an indictment on the corporate world at large and the perceived "work worship" attitude that pervades American business. The whole point of the show is your bosses don't care about you, to the point that they will literally work you to death with a clear conscience. It's okay though, we will find tiny bullshite ways of showing how we appreciate you

Totally agree. Especially the last episode. I keep thinking, yall are still this loyal to a COMPANY??
Are there only offices or are there Lumon churches as well?
I’m not gonna lie I did agree with sissy that Lumon did build the town. So them leaving obviously sucks but it’s not like anyone else was stepping in to prop this place up. It’s an interesting morality. They created it and they destroyed it.
