Acceptable. I’m in. 76 minute finale is going to be god tier.

Still can't get over the watermelon replica of Irv and Lumon encouraging them to eat it.

Hot damn. What an episode. Can’t wait for the finale.

Great episode.
On an unrelated note, I just can’t take the Burt/Irving story seriously. When I saw Christopher Walken and John Turturro get close I feel like I’m supposed to be laughing.

Devour feculence.
Milchick took the lead in his Emmy race with Irv and I think the race is over based on that train ride. Victory lap for Milchick next week. His conversations with Helly/Dylan and his phone call with Mark were also impressive scenes. I still hate his guts for blocking Gemma’s escape and can’t wait for his downfall.
Poor Dylan. She should have met him halfway and severed herself. We can’t lose Dylan and Irv in the same night so I’m sure we will see him again.
More evidence that Helena’s father is Kier with that raw egg comment to her at breakfast. I just realized tonight that I thought his name was James but it’s Jame. Weirdo. What’s he going to do to poor Helly?
Irv had a good send off and I’m glad he got some resolution with Burt. I was holding my breath until the very end expecting some kind of trick.
I wanted way more exposition from Cobel about Cold Harbor, but at least we got confirmation Gemma will die once it’s finished.
Looks like the finale is 45 mins too.

Did anyone catch in that first scene with old Jame Eagan and the egg that the subtitles TWICE said “Helly” when what appeared to be Helena was supposedly talking with her father? This show is too intentional for a mistake like that to happen, much less twice.
Then when “Helena” left in the car and she’s looking back at the compound, you can see she makes that subtle face change from Helena back to Helly, the direct inverse of what she did in the tent with Mark when she was Helena posing as Helly. That was Helly posing as Helena. Thus, father coming back on the severed floor and saying she tricked him.
Or am I going crazy?
Edited to add that Helly’s WTF response to Eagan when she’s in MDR room alone seemed genuinely confused and caught off guard. So I’m not convinced of this theory. I am confident the show purposely used “Helly” in the subtitles in that first scene with Jame Eagan at the compound in the day time and that there was a purposeful subtle face change from Helena demeanor to Helly demeanor in the car ride away from the compound. What it means remains to be seen I guess.

So is Irv gone for good now?
Posted on 3/13/25 at 9:45 pm to jlovel7
I think so. They tied up all his loose ends and even brought his dog.

I think there is something up with that water tower more than just being a visually striking landmark. We got a very good shot of it at the start and it was a character in the video in the first episode of the season if I’m not mistaken.

Great episode. Great setup for the finale. Referencing that Twilight Zone episode was a nice touch as it is a foreshadowing of this series in a way. Also loved that dialogue from The After Hours was used to get Mark inside so he could turn back into his “mannequin” aka innie form.

This show is a god damn masterpiece
That is all.
Am I going to have to edge until the finale? What a setup

I’m interested to see if we ever see Burt again. I mean I was hoping for more than him just being a mid to low level Lumon thug.
And same with Irvs outies research. Seems like that was going somewhere? Who was he talking to on the phone??

When Helly R made the comment that she's actually Helly E, I yelled out loud, "frick you Milkshake!". Then Milkshake went and redeemed himself.
I think we're gonna see next week that Dylan didn't simply take the elevator and leave.
I don't see Irv staying away. He's way too emotionally invested in all of this. And I hate to say it but part of it could be having to plan for Walken either passing away or not being physically capable to continue his character so this gives the writers options if that happens.

So what are our theories on the scene with the eggs.
I wish you’d eat them raw? What the frick?

Did it stick out to anyone else that Mark called Milkshake “Mr. Milchick” twice on the phone? Didn’t he call him “Seth” earlier? A sign of reintegration breaking through or am I reading too far into it?
It seemed to affect Milkshake but then he just goes “OK as long as you pinky promise to come to work tomorrow.” Maybe he sees the signs but is happy to let Drummond fail with the outties?
