LINK

This link will show of the stuff they are building around now for some of the upcoming TV and movies.

In 2023 we should she the Acolyte.

quote:

Details on The Acolyte remain under wraps, but given the events of the story take place about fifty years before the events of the Skywalker Saga, it is likely audiences will get a glimpse at some familiar faces. Yoda appears in the High Republic books and comics, and with an emerging dark side threat emerging, it is likely audiences could see the first live-action appearance of Darth Plagueis the Wise, which means his apprentice, Palpatine, will likely be referenced. Steinberg's character could possibly be a Jedi who uncovers the potential return of the Sith, and who meets their end before they can alert the council to the rising threat.

Article in the link is from 7 months ago.

Disney isnt retconning the entire sequel trilogy without canning the major people involved with that failure. Considering Kathleen Kennedy still has her job 7 months after that article was written, the sequels being discarded seems highly unlikely.

What seems more plausible is that Favreau and Filoni will produce more SW content that fleshes out the sequel storyline. Similar to how The Clone Wars animated series did such a good job of tying up the story between episode 2 and 3

Maybe the worst Star Wars “insider” on YouTube. He walks on other’s inside information about script leaks and claims victory…a few times. Yet he has never been right about inter workings at Lucas films. Ever. When he pops up in my recommended now after I watch something on the Mandalorin or Boba Fett, I know to just move along. Nothing to see here.

I’ve never heard of him, but I keep seeing Mike Zeroh videos come up on my feed. I’ve watched bits and pieces of a few of them and none of them make any sense but they all have outrageous click bait titles.

The shite he says seems almost intentionally fake like the spelling errors in a Nigerian email scam.

The entire pandemic my friends were listening to this. After about month 3, I saw clickbait for what it’s worth. Much like said pandemic

Trying to imagine the shite hurricane that would hit the world if they tried to erase the black, Asian, and strong-female characters that they put in the driver’s seat for that trilogy.

Are there any more stand alone movies like Rogue One or Solo currently in the works? I feel like we're far enough out from RoS that there should be one upcoming.

Rogue Squadron was suppose to come out in 2023 but heard it was delayed. A lot of rumors but nothing concrete except for the trilogy animated that I have seen. Those though are of the original with new concept art.

This. They had dozens of great books to use for script and plot material and Disney completely shite on them to make a terrible disjointed turd.

This is all fine and dandy.

But does anyone truly believe that anything else would produce a different result?

You can reboot this 100 times and every single time you will get SJWars, not Star Wars.

Probably wasn't woke enough. It will either be a transgender Jedi or a Chinese one depending on what audience they want to appease.

You don't need to start from scratch or say that they never happned, due to the age that they are focusing on. You literally have 30-40 years to fit anything in before you even get to Force Awakens stories. All we know is that Luke had a temple, it went bad when Ben started going to the dark side, and then he went into exile.

You could do 30 seasons on everything that happened during that timeframe.

BTW, where is the statue for Jon Favreau going to go? He created the MCU and now he is saving Star Wars by putting out the best content since the OG trilogy. The man is a hero, a saint and a legend.

There is almost a zero percent chance of them retconning the sequel trilogy.

Do I think it's very possible that they downplay it in favor of the post-RotJ "Mando-verse" and the High Republic? Absolutely

I was going to repond with your exact post. The guy is worthless.

He has great breaking news titles that are framed as fact, that get you to click on the video. But then you realize during the 11 min rambling video, he either never addresses the title at all... or he commits a sentence that will address a rumor/speculation about the title. Dude is a clickbait/spam artist.

They were so bad, it was offensive. I never expected to leave the theater after a Star Wars movie wanting my money back.

Exactly. Isn't most of "Galaxy's Edge" based in the time of the Resistance/sequel trilogy? If they redo the movies, they have to redo all of that. That isn't going to happen.
