Was flipping through shows and I came across three that I think I would like. Bad Monkey, Presumed Innocent, and Dark Matter. Watched the trailer for all three and they all seemed pretty good. Which one is best and are there any I should just avoid altogether? TIA

Of those three, Dark Matter is the only one I’ve watched so far. I highly recommend it.

I’m also a huge fan of the book and Blake Crouch.

The other two are on my list and I have heard mostly good things. AppleTV shows seem to be solid across the board so you probably can’t go wrong.

Presumed Innocent first, it's just a one season mini-series.

Then pick which you'd rather watch, a drama or a comedy.

Dark Matter was solid, it's based on a book and the first season did cover the whole book. It got picked up for season 2 but that will be all new material.

Haven't started Bad Monkey yet but plan to.

Haven't seen any of those, but just wanted to add that if you haven't seen Black Bird you should start with that one. Excellent show.

It actually got renewed for season 2. I believe it will be an anthology series with a completely new case.

I've watched all three. Three very different shows for sure.

Dark Matter was one of the better Sci-Fi shows in recent memory, along with Severance (also Apple+). Apple+ is doing Sci-Fi better than anyone right now. That is for sure my favorite of the three mentioned. Though the ending is a bit much.

Presumed Innocent was good but frustrating to me. Not spoiling anything because you know from the trailer who is going on trial but the whole time I'm sitting there thinking "wtf are they trying this guy, there is literally no evidence." I think I've watched too many Datelines and listened to too many true crime podcasts to know that for a "realistic" show, this was extremely unrealistic.

Bad Monkey is good if you like Vince Vaughn and are ok with a good bit of suspension of belief. I'm enjoying it (still two episodes left), but there are certainly some ridiculous parts of it that make you roll your eyes. But definitely some funny parts and some decent twists and turns. And the main Spanish chick is a smoke show, so that doesn't hurt.

It's hard for me to rank Dark Matter and Presumed Innocent. Both were great, although Dark Matter went over the top a bit with the last 2 episodes.

1. Presumed Innocent
2. Dark Matter

I thought Dark Matter was pretty good, wouldn’t call it “can’t miss” like Severance though.

In order:

Sub in Slow Horses for Presumed Innocent (this would be ranked last for me because I know the Harrison Ford movie and knowing the ending spoiled the series for me)

Dark Matter

Bad Monkey

That said, I love all 3. Vaughn is killing it in Bad Monkey

Watched that one and it is great. Best show I have seen in a while. Cannot wait for season 2.

They should have changed the ending, added a one armed man, and then have the 2nd season be based on The Fugitive.

She is still pretty, but she is the opposite of thic now. Her legs looked like toothpicks in some scenes in Dark Matter. It made me check on any news of her being ill.

She must have had breast reduction surgery as well. Don't know if she had health issues or anything and had to have them removed but she used to have some pretty big boobs and there was basically nothing there now.
