From a craft perspective The Social Network is top notch and it’s really not even arguable

Yeah I absolutely loved it and definitely think it’s one of if not the best of the decade.

That said, I kind of get why it isn’t for everyone. I understand the “cold” criticism. I bought it right when it came out and to this day haven’t rewatched it. Not sure why I just never feel compelled to put it on.

That could definitely come from that sort of detached feeling that it gives off

Maybe this is an old school take, but when I watch a movie I like to feel some of emotional connection, relatable characters, or something to pull for. You get none of that in the Social Network... it’s just cold AF

It’s a movie about Mark Zuckerberg

Sorkin/Fincher hit the nail on the head

Best theater experience of the decade... Dunkirk.

I’d have to give this to Interstellar for the docking scene alone, and I saw both in 70mm IMAX

Didn’t see 2049 in the theater.

It is a good movie. Best movie is subjective as hell to the point where every director and critic will probably have a different top 5.

Have we mentioned "The Big Short" or "Wolf of Wall Street" yet?

IMO they are two of the greatest "Wall street be greedy" movies ever

What I love about The Social Network, is that it painted a picture of Zuckerberg of being this intelligent badass wordsmith that could kill a person verbally. Imagine my surprise when he testified against congress and was anything but. The picture they painted of him give credit to the writing, directing, and acting, because in real life, Zuck is seemingly the opposite of what was portrayed.

Not just Sorkin and Fincher, the Trent reznor score is amazing.

The Social Network is a hell of a movie but i deep throat anything Fincher does so i am not the right person to ask

Now do Project LifeLog.

I enjoyed The Social Network, but I expected to because I enjoy most science fiction.
