I don’t know how anyone else felt.. but I thought the trailers to life in pieces made that show look bad..but I think it’s hilarious and I’m happy I watch it

I like the cast, but the dialogue in the trailers couldn’t be more played out. It looks like the kind of promo that they show on tv during a comedy movie which is meant to be a gag for the audience to make fun of Hollywood for being stale, played out, and overly formulaic. It’s so close to the vest, it’s hard to believe that it’s meant to be a serious crime procedural.
I mean, those actors both showed they could do comedy and action. Why not try to play it aloof and make it a non-self-serious action/comedy?

One of the more surprising renewals from last year was “ God Friended me” I think that was my pick from last year . Would never have guessed that would’ve gotten a second season
