Tonight. 9pm Eastern.

"The Gap". As other posters said, probably the Darien Gap.

Something from the previous episode.

The first storage unit he's sawing open is 163. And the 1 and 6 are aligned but the 3 is offset.

So I'm thinking bible verse. Per Google- Proverbs 16:3 is the most popular 16:3 that is referenced.

quote:
The Bible verse you're likely looking for is Proverbs 16:3: "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans" (NIV), or "Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established" (KJV), emphasizing entrusting your efforts and plans to God for success and guidance

Pic incoming....

This part is odd. They infected the entire world and put the virus in everyone without consent.

but NOW they can't do anything to other humans without consent??

I'm guessing because it would be a painful process. They can not harm. I don't believe they knew the initial infection would cause some to die.

I thought it was that without their consent they couldn’t perform the procedure on them to get their stem cells which is required to modify the virus to be able to infect each of the 13.

The hive’s answer to Carol:
quote:

“We hear you Carol, you do not consent. No stem cells will be collected from your body.

I just read the below on Forbes reminding me of the ice hotel flashback.

quote:

Fans have now remembered a line from episode 3 of Pluribus when she’s staying at the ice hotel, and says she could have saved a hundred grand freezing her eggs by just staying there instead.

Well, guess what’s in frozen eggs? Stem cells. And the Hivemind is known to find loopholes to get what they want. Those stem cells are not in Carol’s body and therefore, they wouldn’t be harming “her” or breaking their word. This all calls back to something Zosia said about how you’d automatically rescue someone you saw drowning, which is how they view the disconnected survivors.

Has anyone mentioned the possibility that Carol is a queen for the hive?
quote:

A queen bee's main jobs are reproduction and maintaining colony cohesion that keeps the hive unified, calm, and functioning as a single unit. She is the mother of all bees, ensuring the hive's survival, but she relies on workers for food and care, acting more as a reproductive center than a ruler.

Just going with this concept for a moment, what if this has all happened before, and the earth was seeded previously? Maybe something caused the colony to go astray and it needs to be rebuilt through her genetic line?

Pluribus is a Latin word meaning "many" or "from many," most famously part of the U.S. motto "E Pluribus Unum" ("Out of many, one"

Out of many, one

It's literally in the name of the show

Someone posted like 5 days ago that he was worried that there would be a full episode dedicated to Manny getting through the Darien Gap.

Crazy that so many here were talking about the gap issue with his trip, and Gilligan kind of predicted it.

Interesting. I had not.

For a while I was trying to work out a theory that Carol and the others couldn't be turned because it had to be someone who truly loved them to turn them. Carol's wife had died, the King of Las Vegas obviously never had reciprocal love, but it kinda fell apart after those two.

Especially considering that a lot of how it was passed was by rape-kissing people on the mouth.

Paraguay is a hard headed sumbitch. That ended pretty predictably though. Good to see zosia back and I thought that carol’s situation was pretty relatable. She’s been a twat and she knows it, especially after having seen how the other uninfected have managed to get information without hurting anyone. Once Paraguay gets there shite should get good…she needs to kill them with kindness to be able to trip them up

jesus. seriously? that sounds way too complicated to watch a tv show and catch all the dialog.

It was just if there is a bug behind the reason as to why his foreign subtitles weren’t working otherwise it’s turn on and forget like it works with my AppleTV.

I'm a tech moron, I just logged into Apple TV and let it play, no special settings or anything, and I get the subtitles in the foreign language scenes. No click this or set that. Just pressed play and it works.

I don't know what the CC controversy is about.

Is this whole season about the stages of grief?

This episode should have been a 7 minute montage, and I hate a montage.

I think she has a new sense of security thinking they can’t turn her if she doesn’t want them to. Thus she is much less paranoid and a little more care free.

Episode 7 may just be the most boring episode of television I've ever seen. I wanted to love this series.

I like Vince Gilligan shows but there are quite a few episodes like this one where there isn’t much happening.
