So 2 women fight and not one of them grabbed the others hair. Only UFC holds and straight professional punches. OK...........
Beth has now passed Skyler White as the worst character in the last 20 years.
This show is like a Mexican Soap Opera. Only reason it stays on.

It's hard to defend watching this show any longer....what a mighty fall from "What?? You haven't seen Yellowstone??" to "Please don't think I still watch Yellowstone"

Personally, I was a bit disappointed I didn't get one "Hi-Ya" chop.

I don't understand John's actions during the dinner scene and right after
I thought this was the best episode in 2 years. Maybe they are finding their way back to the ranch stuff that I like.
But Johns dinner table demeanor is the most frustrating thing to watch. I would eat out of a shoe box outside versus sit at that loathsome table.

show is basically fan service to keep the legion of fat cow beth fans happy. I thought maybe they'd humble her a bit by having coyote ugly learn how to brawl in prison....Nope just Beth dishing out punishment...even capped it off with her spitting a tooth out at dinner. Such.....a......bad.....arse

And John’s stupid line of “I envy her freedom”.
Her “freedom” is from everyone bailing her out (literally and figuratively) and John always providing everything for her.

Beth gets to do whatever she wants with zero repercussions. John saying he wishes he envied her. I mean this show has gone full train wreck and I can't take my eyes off of it.

So Yellowstone has accepted it's "Walking Dead" fate. It's gonna be Beth for Beth's sake, and by the gallon. She will steal Jamie's child, kill Jamie, continue to emasculate any man who dares cross her path, eviscerate any other woman who dares cross her path, treat everyone like shite, and escape anything that resembles consequences. Wine tumblers will be refilled, or else.
For everyone who is tired of this onslaught, this is the crossroads of the show. Hate watching is only fun for a while. It becomes a chore, and they have no reason to change the show as long as it's bringing in ad dollars. It's a wine mom's fan fiction at this point.

I wish Beth had her own spin-off instead of Jimmy

I love this thread but I may have to walk away from the show if next episode doesn't pick up the business.
I left TWD when Rick peaced out and this may be the moment. I hate to not see things through but this is so terrible...not sure there is a payoff. There's no big bad except some courtroom shenanigans.
Think this one may be over, folks.

What gets me is they build something up for the next episode and then you don't see or hear shite about it..
Last episode at the funeral, Rainwater and John had a discussion whereby Rainwater said he needed to talk to him and that John should come to the rez to discuss rainwater's concern and to show the people he cared. I was looking forward to that. That's how the show started, John against the Indians.. Cowboys and Indians!! That's what I want.
Not one mention of it this episode, no Rainwater, nothing.
All we get is John cancelling every meeting for the next couple of weeks, which is not very believable for a Governor and Beth's bullshite. Hell, she's all but castrated Rip! A cat fight and not one shirt is torn? Not one titty pops out? WTF is goin on around here?
And Jamie? WTF are you doing? Oh I can still frick you because we use 3rd party litigators? You're the frickin Attorney General! Get a grip.
Summer on house arrest at the governor's ranch? Move along people, nothing to see here.. C'mon man. Not newsworthy?
About the only one who didn't piss me off was Monica. She told Kasey to keep his job, wanted for them to go to the branding and was laughing at the table.
Yeah I'm bitchin about it... I'll still watch next week though. I'm excited to have an episode in the woods working cattle.
Check out the trailer for next week.. Looks like someone's getting medevac'd.

I watched all 4 seasons of this show over the last 2 weeks and it has completely gone off the rails.
Beth is a walking cartoon, a caricature of a person.
I think the only person I root for is Jamie to snap and completely frick his foster family.
frick this show
.
But I guess I have to finish it being pot committed.

With the way the last scene was shot, you’d think they were riding their horses to Vietnam.

I thought it was actually well done and very pretty. Mountains in the predawn background. John gives his speech and they ride off in the dust and early am haze.
conjuring up images of troops heading out on their last battle. Maybe that was the point.
The rest of the episode was pure garbage, as usual.

I'm guessing it was Tate who got Medevac'd so Monica can go back into full meltdown mode.
I think Kayce has been less involved this year because his real dad died earlier this year. Probably during filming.

Monica, Tate and Beth need to be Clintoned. The last few episodes are some of the worst TV I've ever seen.

Yes the take care of my son, he is the only one I have kinda foreshadowed that.
Or it’s Johns assistant. Unless kasey ends up having a fling with the assistant.

And I was (and still am to some degree) a Beth fan...I'm very unhappy with the last at least 1.5 seasons of her character. Week after week of this shite is just too much.
And where have John Dutton's balls gone? It seemed that a few seasons ago, he spoke and everyone STFU and listened. They did what he said. I feel like he could put an end to some of this Beth BS if he tried. It truly should be HIS show, but him ruling the roost in a quiet but demanding way, such that the crap his kids pull is more behind his back than directly in front of him.
There is just so much bad to this show now. It's so sad to watch a show with such promise just go down the toilet.

In the dinner table scene, I think Monica might have smiled/laughed for the first time ever in the series tonight
It's like the writers are reading the fan sites and just realized everyone hates Monica. Now they are trying to make her likable and it's almost unbelievable.
