this whole thing of John constantly being shocked at the shite he has to do as governor is so dumb. They almost make him seem like a total retard "wait so I can like pardon people whenever I want???"

then I thought maybe that chick in the bar was ME setting Beth up...nope that gets swept under the rug with relative ease. So essentially a wasted subplot and "cliffhanger" from last week.

the "I'm a Beth!" line probably had the dumb women fan club of hers howling

and the guy that picked her up must be a huge bitch if his young daughter is telling strangers her mom wears the pants in the family, geez dude

What I don't get is they don't think some reporter will see the public record that Beth got arrested? Like this lady they brought in to destroy them wouldn't know this pretty big scandal? Just imagine the lady telling her story about how the governor's daughter hit her with a bottle then she was threatened with being arrested and denied bond by the AG if she pressed charges by the governor's son and her attacker's brother. Not only does that violate numerous ethics rules that is illegal.

That was my first thought when Kayce's son was kidnapped. It's the same show with horses instead of bikes. Kayce is Jax Teller, Beth is Peg Bundy, Monica is Tara, etc etc.

eta: The show would be more enjoyable without Monica.

100% ^^^^^^^^^^

i never saw it until you said it, but you are spot on with your whole assessment here

1. I don't like them using infant death in the storyline. I'm sorry- I just don't like it as a plot point. It's junk writing for a tertiary character and inessential throw away plot point.

I think you have to acknowledge the death of the baby is going to seriously impact Kayce's arc, though it does move him farther away from the center of the show which has been going on since S1.

Exactly.. IRL they'd be better off sending a stranger to pay her off with 10K.. Like the fricking State's AG would be making a special trip to some ADA's office anyway.. Stupid writing.

And the whole thing with Beth and Jamie in his vehicle? Gimme a frickin break. Any man, even a pussy, would have pulled over and shook that bitch.

And like others have said, John, get a fricking clue! You are Governor now. You HAVE to do certain things as Governor!

The show is almost intolerable now. I can't wait to see what next week brings

In closing, I'd like to add that I am very happy with coyote ugly's return. Only because Beth hates her.

Something highly illegal happens on the ranch, and the pards clear it up in a haphazard way;
-John does some political stunt that would get him impeached IRL but works out perfect on the show;
-Beth is a bitch to everyone and has a bunch of one liners about hating Jaime;
-Kayce learns some new native ritual while Monica is in a deep depression; and
-Jaimie is simultaneously an Ivy educated expert lawyer while being a massive idiot and completely emasculated by everyone but also everyone relying on him to save everything.

Have we discussed yet how Jamie got targeted by ME because he wasn't smiling during John's inauguration?

The writing on this show is laughable.

I also love how the characters just engage in awful behaviors for the entire show, then we just sort of absolve all the evil with a pastoral scene of rounding up cows and lamenting on the coming industrial apocalypse and the awful world these children are going to inherit. Nevermind that you're all engaging in some seriously awful shite while clinging to the "good old days."

See, this is how they get rural people like me to stay. I farm, my office is glorified shack 20 miles from the nearest town, and I can get up from my desk and walk 10 minutes and be in a deer stand.

So, they started playing that peaceful music, highlighted the scenery, and talked about how shitty the world is. Left me thinking of how nice the agriculture way of life is, and the thought of how shitty these people on the Yellowstone are never crossed my mind in those 5 minutes.

The moment he kills her is going to be great. She is a terrible character

The Atwood character is just as bad. Any man that would fall for either of their crap is pathetic. They are both trash.

It would be better with Beth in it if she were to show a little growth. These characters are all stuck in exactly the same place as the beginning. She should show growth with Rip as hubby and the kid. That would have been interesting. Let us see her humanity a bit.

When she married Rip, I thought the show would get better...not worse.

I just cannot imagine how they think this writing is acceptable. They started with some great characters. They have pretty much ruined them all by writing them into a corner.

I have a little hope for the John governor, girl protester, him figure out how to govern story line, but I'm sure it will be a mess, too.

Can we also discuss how the CEO for ME has been written as if Chuckie has taken over her body? Every scene she has been throwing whiskey glasses at windows or some crazy shite
