Im going to continue moving forward with the theory that Darryl never dies. Until it happens I think he is up there with Rick in regards to the untouchables.

Yeah I was disappointed in last night's episode. The more I thought about it after the actual episode the more I thought about how for 90 mins nothing happened really. I hated the ending. My honest opinion I think Abraham got dem brains bashed in. I would have picked the gInger if I was neegan.

I think for the same reason he left the guy at the hill top alive, which is a "if you control the leader you can control the group" mentality. Plus with the size of his crew I'd assume he's had several takeovers so maybe he has a method down.

I'm thinking Eugene is the one. They have made a point of showing his transformation from cowering inept weakling to someone with something to contribute to the betterment of all.
He was the one who stepped up and offered to take the RV while the others tried to get to the Hilltop on foot. He gave his bullet recipe and location to Rick. The writers made the character dispensable with that. I would not be surprised to see the mullet go down in October.

I think the first episode back will be a flashback of the day leading up to whoever gets Lucille. The whole episode focuses on that character and ends with the 3rd person view of them getting killed (this is in the scenario that it's either Glenn or Daryl).
If it's one of the Maggie crew then I think the episode starts with them getting effed. But I could also see them skipping forward a little bit if it's a major character to spare the audience the gore of seeing someone like Daryl or Michone get obliterated.

at this point I'm hoping its not a main character because this totally ruined the impact the death will have.

I've never found them to be that long or often.. However, most of the time I wait til 8:15 to start watching so I can FF through them... I didn't last night and I never thought they were a problem

Exactly what I told my wife last night. That ending cheated whoever it was out of a monumental death scene that would've been talked about for years. Now when they open season 7 is will just be ho-hum and no one will really give a shite which is why I feel like they'll cop out and kill Aaron or some shite. Showing it last night could've really drawn the point across that Rick's arrogance was costing them the ultimate price.

Exactly. Watching Negan completely break Rick would be much more demoralizing in the long run for the group imo.

Is a bat wrapped with barbwire really that effective of a weapon in a ZA? The only thing the barbwire adds to is the intimidation factor. Getting hit in the head with a baseball bat wrapped in barbwire would probably not do anymore real damage than getting hit with a plain ole bat. My weapon of choice would be Michonne's Katana.

I would love for her to have been a spy. As we've seen, the saviors are ruthless so if she really was a spy that'd be badass. Although I don't think that's the case based on that one time she ran away and got with Glenn.

Ehhh, everyone needs a weapon that doesnt run out of ammo. Id rather the bat because I could swing it better and it wouldnt get stuck on anything like the sword could. If the zombies dies as easily from a blow to the head like on TWD then I would definitely go with a bat.
