Is a bat wrapped with barbwire really that effective of a weapon in a ZA? The only thing the barbwire adds to is the intimidation factor.
This is exactly why it's an effective weapon. I don't think he intends on using it on zombies. It's used to intimidate people. It's obvious that this is not the first time he has done this. Is imagine a bat wrapped in barbed wire would lead to some pretty gruesome smashed in faces all while the rest of the group watches.

A person having issues with killing people makes no sense? What reality do yall live in.
She killed dozens of people for various reasons over multiple seasons until suddenly... BOOM, I quit. And instead of staying inside the walls, where there are no people she would want/need to kill and many other people who have never even killed anyone, she just bails and runs out alone into the wilderness where there are dozens even hundreds of people who will force her to kill them (took her all of five minutes to kill how many?). There's even another guy in that town who feels exactly the same way. She knows him pretty well. They don't leave together. She doesn't even ask. Doesn't even seek his counsel. She literally just fought him over whether or not to kill someone.
I don't have any problem with her feeling remorse. I have a problem with the suddenness of character reversal and the stupidity of her running out into the wilderness alone to not kill people, when she knows damn well that is where the bad people are.
She could have been transformed into this new character over time. It took how long for her to become a tough capable survivor? She was the best developed character on the show and viewers loved her b/c of it. They turned her into bizzarro Carol over the course of like two episodes and now everyone hates her.

Does anyone know how old Judith is now? They never show her anymore, but I would imagine she would be around 2 or 3. I lose track of the time that has passed.

Exactly. It has to be someone nobody really gives a crap about. They kept it hidden so we would give a crap.
If they were killing off a main character, they would either show it for the shock and resulting grief and mourning or show them about to be killed, leaving open the possibility they might somehow survive (like Glenn and the dumpster).
Or, we are giving the writers too much credit.

Which is why I think it is someone we wont care about too much. Glen and Darryl both deserves much better deaths than being beat down by a bat.

You understand how PTS works? I think it'd get complicated and unpredictable. Also, they've shown her beginning to unravel for some time now.

Exactly what I told my wife last night. That ending cheated whoever it was out of a monumental death scene that would've been talked about for years. Now when they open season 7 is will just be ho-hum and no one will really give a shite which is why I feel like they'll cop out and kill Aaron or some shite. Showing it last night could've really drawn the point across that Rick's arrogance was costing them the ultimate price.
all of this.
I wanted the person who died to be one of the main characters bc of the shock value, but since they didn't show the death I hope its Aaron or Eugene. (which is likely gonna be the case.)

I think the point of Carol's sudden change is the walls of Alexandria have really torn her between what life could be like and the reality of the ZA. She's killed before because that's the world she has lived in since the beginning. Now, she has huge walls, nice houses, solar power and an apparent love interest. I'm guessing that's shaking her to the core.

Maybe he thought it was a dumb ending and a wrong way to go too?

Yeah. One of the rooms in the savior compound they raided had pictures of people's faces destroyed

I think so too. I was initially on the Eugene train but I really think/hope it's Glenn.

Anyone else feel played by the dramatic scene where Eugene plays the hero?
It went nowhere. After the main group is captured, he's already just kneeling there.
Cheap.

I think that shows how confident this group was about their experience and preparation. When in reality they are just a middle school girls basketball team up against the UCONN women team of the ZA world.

Solid comparison.

Is it just me, or did the Hilltop folks really fail to mention how large Negan's group was?
Posted on 4/4/16 at 12:27 pm to rondo
yeah you'd think one of them would have said something when they went on that killing spree at the compound. "yeah guys this isn't even a fraction of his group. Also, negan isn't here sooo"

Well, their only intel was what Jesus told them and he really thought that satellite location where Rick went on his killing spree was all they had. They thought Negan was in that building. Just goes along with no one having a clue how big of a problem the Saviors are going to be.
Posted on 4/4/16 at 12:31 pm to Tigerdew
I'm just trying to figure out how exactly this is going to end with Negan's group (Haven't read the comics). The group that picked up Morgan & Carol has got to have some clue about the Saviors.

I doubt they know just how many Saviors there are either. Gregory wouldn't have agreed to giving away half up front to Rick's group if he knew just how deep the Saviors are rolling. The first time Rick sees Jesus or Gregory again after this should be entertaining though.
