Do we need to concern ourselves with those alternate universe's?
No.
It's all fans jerking off until the next set of writers tell us what they've decided to further the story.
You could have an Avengers team made up entirely of Captain America's from six different timelines show up and it would be "correct" for that particular film.

And who's to even say that the explanation given by the characters in the movie is correct. The Hulk literally says he has no idea and that either it's all a joke or none of it is. But then we just accept he's an expert in time travel a few scenes later.

It was all theoretical until it wasn't.

I think you are over-complicating it.
He lived on the down low in the same reality.
Russos confirmed he went to a branch reality not the main one and how he got back to our reality was an "interesting question."
They also said Bucky knew what Cap was doing even though Cap may have not known. Sam definitely didn't know. Bucky knew the shield was for Sam and that is why he encouraged him to go to Cap.
It also sounds like Marvel has plans to mess around with the branch realities created from this, not just the Cap one. Probably Disney+ content.
So branch realities are now confirmed as canon.

How did Thanos and his ship time travel?

A branch reality Nebula brought her reality's Thanos to the main reality via the same setup the Avenger's used to get the stones in other realities. They returned the stones, but didn't seal up that reality because Thanos and his entire army and Nebula/Gamora wasn't returned to that reality. Did you not see when she brought Thanos' entire ship through it in the movie? It came out small and got really big going up.

Nebula introduced Pym Particles into the reactor, allowing Thanos' engineers including Ebony Maw to reverse engineer it at an atomic level?
It advanced the plot?

I get that, but where did she get the Pym Particles to bring him through?

She gave one to Thanos, he has a ship full of people smarter than Pym. I'm sure they just reverse engineered it. They weren't on a deadline exactly. They could solve it then warp there at their leisure. That's the problem introducing time travel to a universe. It's a nightmare to put limits to it.

Lol. Endgame has already beat TLJ in 4 days. 1.34 billion
TLJ had 1.33 billion. I can’t wait until the Disney shareholders see what The Skywalker Saga (or whatever the frick Episode IX is called) bombs. I’m going with 850 million total. It’s good not to frick over your fans and call them a bunch of racist, sexist homophobes.

Modern day Nebula had a vial of Pym Particles for the return trip. This was taken by 2014 Nebula and given to Thanos. It was then reverse engineered and produced at scale to allow the ship to travel through the Quantum Realm.
From the interview with the Russos -
quote:
Q: How did Thanos bring his army to the future?
A: There is a guy called Maw in his army, he was a great wizard. Thanos himself was a brilliant genius as well. Those two easily reverse engineered and mass produced Pym Particles.

You need to move on and have a gay date with Joe Russo and try not to cry about that before they bring you your salads.

He has a solo show on the new Disney streaming service.
We used the Tesseract to warp to Disneyland

There have been rumors of a Loki spin-off series. Wouldn’t surprise me if they launch it there.

Has it been covered who the younger guy was at Tony’s funeral standing by himself? He was towards the back, right before the camera panned to Carol Danvers.
ETA: nvm, finally found it. Harley Keener

I am officially done with the MCU.
This isn't a bad thing. I truly enjoyed Endgame and think it might be my favorite Marvel movie since Iron Man. And that's why I feel like I'm done with the series. It was the perfect ending for a story arc that has been progressing since 2008. It was a great payoff and I want to leave the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the finale of Endgame rather than what I feel like the MCU is about to become - SJW Central.
Avengers: Endgame was a fantastic film. I enjoyed it from beginning to end and was invested with the story and the characters throughout. The climax. Man that climax was freaking epic. THAT is how I wanted the original Avengers to go out. I'm so glad the MCU stuck the landing. It gave me tons of satisfaction.
I might watch Spider-Man: Far From Home since it will be an epilogue of sorts to the Infinity Saga. But then that's it. It was a fun ride and I'm glad they succeeded.
Final Grade: A-
