Just saw it. After reading one page of this, I'm already sick of it.

But, I guess they killed off Stark so that the boring as shite Capt. Marvel could assume the "leadership" role because social engineering.

That's because they are now controlled by people who think that human achievements are doled out like welfare, bestowed upon people by "privilege." Stark was the leader and best character because RDJ is the most dynamic and talented actor in the ensemble. Brie has no real personality and her childlike SoCal accent makes her sound like an 80's mall chick.

Black Capt. America doesn't surprise me. shite, in 4 movies, they'll all be black.

Finally, none of what I saw gave me any desire whatsoever to see a Black Widow origin movie. I just don't foresee giving a shite about that character.

Other than that, I liked it. I'm not really invested in the super hero movies, so I had no expectations. I will say, however, that if its true that they put the time aspect in just to have an excuse to do anything in future movies, they will implode and die quickly, like Star Trek did - under the same "leadership."

Disney is basically screaming agendas and proving how much they suck every day, and they own everything now. That's pretty bleak.

Hopefully it’s been mentioned that the whole reason it became possible to save everyone is because a rat crawled across a control panel in Ant Mans van.

They killed Stark off cause RDJ was done with the MCU.

So when Cap travels back in the end to return the stones, he doesn’t run into himself in like he did when they did the time heist?

He might be the inspiration but he wasn’t a great leader. He bailed on the team during Winter Soldier/Civil War over Bucky creating a schism in the team that allowed Thanos to win in the first place.

He bailed on the team again after Stark died to live a life slaying poon.

That right there tells me it was Stark holding the team together and accountable. What a leader really does.

There's nothing wrong with Falcon getting it unless you're so zoned in on his skin color. It was 'supposed' to be Bucky, but why so pissed about Falcon getting it?

I’m not mad about Falcon getting it - that was expected (esp bc Disney). I’m aggravated Bucky and Cap didn’t have final words. That was stupid

Uh did you miss the part where he was gone for 5 seconds, literally, and also that Chris Evans isn't going to be Captain America anymore, so your choices were this, or he dies. Would you rather have seen Thanos kill him in the battlefield, or see him go get his dance with that fine arse Peggy Carter in her red dress and live a long life in an alternate universe having zero affect on the current universe?
It's a movie.

Uh...explain to me how this wasn’t quitting the team again?

1. He left and lived his life somewhere else without consulting the team
2. Gave up his shield and position without consulting the team

How is this not bailing on the team post Stark?

ETA: I’m not talking about Chris Evans - I’m talking about Cap - they could have written off Cap in many much more heroic team ways

Likewise. Cap's whole thing was to save Bucky and then basically protect him...In the end, he even made it a point to tell past Cap that Bucky is alive... but then they have no real closure at the end

The job is done. It's why Pepper tells Tony he can rest now, and we'll be ok. They saved the universe. Cap has been through a lot, and he feels he can trust the new crop of superheroes to defend the earth, and he wants to go get his dance.

What team are you talking about? Tony and Nat are dead. Clint is going live with his family and retire for good. Thor is going fart around with the GOTG. All that is left is Bruce.
Are you saying Cap had to discuss with Dr. Strange, BP, CM, Roadie, Spider-man, Ant-man, Scarlett Witch, etc on what he wants to do with his life? Him and the original Avengers have been through a lot of shite when it was just them. They have a lot more help now, and he feels he can retire after a job well done.

Again, you can't just write him off. He either needs to die, or do what they did where he sort of retires and grows old. How else are you going to heroically write off Cap? if he stays of age, then we'll be constantly wondering when he comes back, and when he doesn't, then you'll have a real reason to bitch about him quitting the team.
