Running with that thought- couldn't they have just gone to The Ancient One, gotten her stone, and reset time? Seems much easier. I guess the caveat would be that 1 stone can't reverse damage done by all 6 stones

Given that she was completely shocked to the point of being dumbfounded at what Stephen did shortly after becoming the sorcerer supreme and her nigh omniscience every where else it is safe to presume that her abilities with the stone are limited to events within her lifetime.

Mine clapped every time anything happened. It was kind of annoying.

There’s a multiverse. We’ve been knowing about that. We know there are multiple realities created when the past is changed. You want to know how old Steve got from his universe to the one we know. We have a mechanism for that in the universe we know. Why is it so hard to think his reality has one too?

That would undo a lot more than the snap. Tony was absolutely opposed to undoing his family.

I'm very anti-clapping during movies. Just shut up and let the movie play out!

The end battle is one of the coolest things I've ever seen in a theater. The Stark death took me by surprise and was really well done. Wasn't expecting Natasha to die, heck of a moment. Overall I liked it quite a bit, but I agree with a lot of you about the plot holes of the time travel rules. If Hulk and the Ancient One's assessments are correct, we have these branches in reality caused by their time travel:

1. When Loki gets the space stone and escapes
2. When Tony meets and talks to his father
3. When Thor meets and talks with his mother
4. When Thanos and his army leave 2014 and enter 2023, then proceeds to get dusted
5. When Cap goes back in time and stays in the 40s

I can accept the rules of the universe saying those events don't effect the present, but branch off into their own separate realities.

However, they crapped all over their own rules by having old man Cap showing up in the present reality. It never should have worked that way and ruined their own explanations of time travel. They sacrificed plot for a nice send off for Steve. It's a shame.

There was only one reality where everyone dusted in 2018 lives past 2023. She explained that simply resetting or taking a stone at one point doesn’t fix anything for those people. It just created a new reality/future which Strange know does nothing for everyone they’ve lost and beating Thanos. She understands that Strange did what he did for a reason and accepts that she must comply with the Hulk

I will. You aren’t even arguing anything so there’s nothing more for me to say to you.

nuts for her when she showed up at the end.

mine was silent.

Only time mine cheered was when Black Panther came in (went to a theater in Shreveport), and when Capt America grabbed Thors hammer.

For a pretty great Easter egg, google Thanos.

Then click on the gauntlet.

Yeah, people got really fired up when Cap picked up the hammer. That was the big moment in mine. A few people cheered when the portal opened but I don’t think that was specific to BP.

You telling people to move on is rich considering everyone of your posts in this thread is about a 15 second scene in a 3 hour movie.

I still haven't posted my 1st page review and I'm still stewing on it.

One thing that that I could've done without for the whole movie was Big beard Fat Thor. Sure, Thor pulling a big lebowski was funny but it shouldn't have been for the whole movie.

I can't wait until Thor gets back to this badass and pure comic book version, that hopefully cuts down on the wisecracks and just wants to frick some shite up.

Meh. I was more bothered by his brooding through two acts than his look and the humor. He wasn’t going to lose the weight and it would have looked odd with the shaven face and short hair.

Speaking of Thor, I’m really excited about him being with the Guardians.
