That's pretty cool.

Something I read which will be a real issue going forward with the MCU:
How do you handle half the population being 5 years younger? Peter Parker goes back to school but half the people he knows are long gone. How do the people who return manage the changes over that time? People who died naturally, governments/agencies/companies that have new leaders and are rebuilt differently, etc.

This exact thing is why I'm excited for the next phase. So many directions they can take the story. They put the 5 year gap in there for a reason. Somehow they'll spin the X-Men out of it.

I was more bothered by his brooding through two acts than his look and the humor.
The perfect balance between that and fat/funny thor was his portrayal in Ultron where he wasn't some dark and gloomy guy but he wasn't a blonde bodybuilder version of Spiderman and his big running mouth.

Speaking of Thor, I’m really excited about him being with the Guardians.
I could tolerate this as a team up movie for a big bad but not him as a full fledged member of the Guardians.
I'm not a fan of the direction they're taking Thor in.
I want the buff and badass Thor that didn't have time for wisecracks back.

We disagree. I love Korg and Ragnorok Thor.
And I love Banner. Ruffalo was awesome in this compared to Ragnorok and IW. Mellow Hulk is a good balance as long as we eventually get him showing a power increase. They pulled back on him some from the original Avengers.

Whoopsie! It looks like I inadvertently hurt someone's feeling. It's okay, Stuart, just spend a few more minutes in the mirror telling your reflection "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough and -doggone it!- people like me" and you'll feel better.
After that, go make me a sandwich.

This version of Thor is good for a couple movies that call for it but eventually, he needs to get back to the root persona of his character.
It has the potential to get out of hand like a souped and camped up version of Adam West's Batman for example. Good for the era and the movies that call for it but eventually we want the badass Batman back like we saw in Nolan's trilogy and BvS with Batfleck.

Now I will say that a better idea would be to do a movie with Thor and Professor Hulk, those two are a good to great partnership and they have a lot of chemistry together. A movie with just those two would be awesome.
That's much better than this hokey idea of Thor gallivanting around with the Guardians which is just forced to me.

We need a Thor training montage, though.

You telling people to move on is rich considering everyone of your posts in this thread is about a 15 second scene in a 3 hour movie.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to complain about that 15 minute Audi commercial before the movie started. What the frick was that, Disney?

While this definitely annoys me, you just have to suspend disbelief and just accept that it all works out. If I was in charge of writing all this stuff, I’d definitely want time travel and all the consequences and stuff absolutely air tight, but that’s almost impossible.
It is what it is, at this point. In the movie, some of those questions were running through my head, but once it was done and reflecting back, it doesn’t bother me.
