quote::sigh: i agree with Volvagia. Your explanation is lazy and retarded.
t’s not a plot hole if he’s from another reality. We know people can travel between them and we know there’s a mechanism for it. Not having old roger’s story completely explained isn’t a big deal at all. It’s not part of this story.

The NPR review pointed that out. Why make a huge point of ridiculing a movie when you're going to do the exact same thing.

This. They don't have much to work with re: Larson. She just brings nothing. I almost feel sorry for her- RDJ, Hemsworth, Cumberbatch, Rudd...they all have incredible charisma. She's so off-putting, it's almost jarring to the story.

A lot of names that you could add to that list before you get down to her level of charisma.

It was actually stated in the credits if you remembered the name to look for from IM3
There was a LOT of forgettable shite from IM3. Not as much as 2, but definitely its fair share.

Best scene to me- Korg and Miek hanging out with Thor playing Fortnite and eating pizza.
Most chill-inducing scene- Stephen Strange giving Tony the hand signal: "it is time"

I just assumed this snap made the Thanos snap not happen and going to 1970 fixed the Loki theft.
But they cracked on the Back to the Future time travel but I feel like they basically did the same thing. You went back and fixed an error and it changed present events.
Why are they going after the infinity stones though if the original snap didn’t happen?
If Thanos died in 2014, why is Loki, Heimdall, and Gamora still dead.
And why would stealing, and then returning the stone in 1970 affect the stones location in 2012?
And keep in mind I’m deliberately trying not to nitpick here. I could go on with things like how did Steve rebuild the teaseract around the space stone, and how did he reinfect Jane with the Aether while it was in stone form?
But I’m just sticking to the core narrative.
There is no two ways about it: you can make it all fit with time travel multiverse boogity-boo right up till Rogers was sitting on the bench.

They were trying to set her appearance at the end as the same as Thor's in Infinity War. People were excited about Thor's appearance and they cheered; no one cared about Carol's.
Is your sample size one theater? Because mine went nuts for her when she showed up at the end.

Just because they wanted it to be a dramatic moment doesn’t mean it ruins everything.
I’ll say the claim that characters can be reasonably expected to easily flit between the multiverse with no big mechanism or limitation is more worldbreaking than hyperspace as a weapon ala TLJ.

There were a lot of cheers in my theater- even at the girl power scene. But zero for Carol

There was a pretty big applause in mine.

Also I was extremely disappointed in how they showcased rebuilding Asgard.
I was expecting something like this.....
Instead, we got a little fishing village that reminded me of a Cocodrie or Grand Isle with mountains.
Asgardians deserved better.
They went from this....

Well, yes. As did many many people. I didn’t see time travel being promoted as some leading theory of what they were going to do in this film and I’m just usually not a fan of that route due to the paradoxes and plotholes it introduces.
Not trying be an arse but who are the many many people who thought that? Time travel has been hinted at since the first Ant-Man movie. Hell I would even argue that it has been hinted at even more since Dr. Strange's movie with the time stone popping up. The many many people who didn't expect some time of plot scenario are probably those who didn't even bother watching other movies past the 4 Avengers films.

Same here. Once they realized what the ship was shooting at, they all cheered. I was hoping it was some far greater threat to everyone.

quote:It’s not mine per se. Zero was changed leading up to 2023. That was a requirement for that reality to work. Which is why steve went back and “undid” all of their changes. This removed those reality breakaways that the sorcerous supreme described. But once he’s done, he goes back to live a life with Peggy. We know nothing about that reality. But he gets back somehow, we know that’s possible in the reality/story we’ve been told. Maybe it exists differently in the new one he created by spending his life as a normal person. If there’s a question, it’s how does that alternate universe handle all of the issues we know are coming. Or do they not happen because he does something simple like keep the tesseract hidden that whole time? How he gets there doesn’t really mean anything to this story. That’s all I’m saying.
Your explanation is lazy and retarded.

Only time mine cheered was when Cap had Thor’s hammer.
