watch her defend herself with force lightning
She’s probably going to defeat both Obi-Wan and Vader by the time the show ends.

Any time the plot moves forward, it is because of a chance encounter.
It's been that way since the beginning of A New Hope.
Leia just happened to be above Tatooine, where her secret brother just happened to live, whose uncle just happened to need a couple of new droids, that just happened to end up w/the Jawas that Owen usually bought gear from, and happened to get R2D2 b/c the red R2 unit had a bad motivator.... etc etc etc.

possibly the most pwerful Jedi to that point,
I'm not sure why some of you are so determined to make Obi-Wan the GOAT Jedi at everything when there is this little green guy named Yoda who everyone knows is both more powerful w/the force and a better duelist.

I think the overall story is good
Agreed.
Each episode has gotten better than the previous one.
I like Leia's character. It suits to how we see her in A New Hope but at the same time, she is just 10 years old.
Seeing Vader getting assembled was nuts. That was so awesome.
Seeing his breathing tubes being removed and seeing how these machine parts are now deeply rooted into his physical human tissue was crazy. The chest plate has deep, penetrating spikes that go into his flesh as do the pieces of the neck collar. And all the while he has to hold his breath while this is going on until the suit is fully on. It's crazy.
Then we get to the confrontation..... I mean Vader was always intimidating but aside from Roque One, we never got so see him in just a merciless role (I know, blowing up Alderaan and the younglings) but you didn't see him carry it out himself (aside from Roque One) but to pull a guy out of his house and Force choke him in the air and then snap this kid's neck. I mean ruthless.
All to pull Kenobi out of hiding. He knows he's there.
Kenobi knew he was in no condition to duel. Vader/Anakin, whatever, is too powerful at this point.
Kenobi feels like he's failed Anakin and on top of that seeing his Padawan, someone he really cared about has now turned into this merciless monster, it's shattering.
I also think we'll see(or at least hear) Qui Gon in the next episode or two. They've made references to him in all the episodes (I think) They wouldn't keep doing that just for the heck of it.
I think he'll make contact with him and then get the 'training' Yoda said he would at the end of ROTS and get more confident.
I'm just wondering how much we'll see of Luke. Right now, we don't know if Luke even knows of Ben.
I am enjoying the show though. Looking forward to the next episode.

Was reading this thread from the beginning and was going to post about this. I'm not a Star Wars lore geek but I've seen basically everything. I'm very curious after these 3 episodes why Leia is even alive come original trilogy.
At this point Vader would know that kidnapping her drew out Kenobi and likely was contacted by Organa, and yet no follow up investigation into her between whatever happens now and the OT to figure out why a Jedi hiding that long came out for this?
I would think and hope that will be explained.
And with the hints that the Empire is scooping up Force-sensitive kids, I don't think Kenobi is going to tip her off that she can do anything. I wouldn't be surprised if he does something to mask her ability.
The bigger issue is Bail Organa, and why Kenobi came to his aid. Maybe they will just have him as too prominent a member of the Senate to frick with, without hard proof. But that proof looks pretty solid right now, they need to do something to not have him branded a traitor and collaborator with the Jedi.
Leia's safe, it's always been Luke that has been a mystery, ever since Lucas retconned the story when he made ESB. Unless "Skywalker" is Tatooine for "Smith" (or maybe, for Snow
I mean, your wife is about to have a kid, she vanishes before giving birth, and years later you discover a boy the exact right age, with YOUR LAST NAME, is now living with your dead mom's second family.
And you have the census bureau working for you trying to find people... just seemed like a hell of an oversight.
I guess Vader just hated sand that badly, he totally blotted out the idea of ever looking at Tatooine again.

This.
Even Vader didn't know about her until he was chasing Luke in the Emperor's chamber in ROTJ.

Zero…this will be “Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you’re my only hope”. If this is one season or two, Luke won’t be much of a part of it. He’s been kept away from Luke.

Jedi Master Obi Wan Kenobi. Who defeated Darth Maul and Anakin in battle, won countless battles in the Clone Wars etc etc. When confronted by 3 troopers after shooting 3 others, kneels face down in defeat/surrender until rescued by the spy. WTF?!? I understand he would be depressed but I don't buy that he would be like this show is portraying him. It's like they have to make him almost as pathetic as Jake Skywalker in TLJ.

The fight with Vader was ridiculous bad. Seriously, ObiWan’s hands hurt using a lightsaber and he is force held by Vader! Now look at Obi in rebels set just a few years later where he is so powerful he barely has to fight Maul. It’s laughable.

Obi-Wan was not looking to fight whatsoever. He hadn’t used the force in a decade. Hopefully that meeting with Vader woke Obi Wan up; he’s been a shell of himself, which is expected after what he went through at the end of ROTS. I hope we see the force ghost of Qui Gon come back to encourage Obi Wan to embrace the force once more.

You mean the guy that couldn’t defeat Dooku, much less the emperor when he had the chance?

I've asked before on here, but I'll ask again. Can someone explain the alignment of the words on those shirts? It doesn't make any sense to me and makes me irrational angry.

Dooku ran away from Yoda while Dooku kicked Obi Wan's arse twice. Had Yoda not shown up both Anakin and Obi would have been dead.

Dooku ran b/c he was losing my guy.

That’s like saying Vader couldn’t defeat Luke because Luke fell down the shaft. The only reason Dooku was allowed to escape is because Yoda had to save Kenobi and Anakin from getting crushed by that column Dooku dropped on them.

I was a little let down that some rendition of "Battle of the Heroes" wasn't playing when Kenobi and Vader finally see each other again.
I'm not going to nitpick everything about this show because there are some elements I really like and others that I don't, but the Vader/Kenobi fight just didn't have the gravitas that it deserved IMO. I'm going to re-watch it and see if I feel differently, but the manner in which it ended was lame.
Clearly they're going to meet again and that fight should be epic. To keep their interactions in A New Hope canon, Vader has to be made to feel like he's still the learner and Kenobi is still the master.
Also I hope we get more of Kenobi's "visions" of Anakin. That helped drive the turmoil and anguish Kenobi still feels emotionally and mentally.
Don't care much for the Leia/Inquisitors storyline. I'm definitely tuning in for more Vader and Qui Gon.
