I am looking for a new series to begin and realize I have never watched this one. Did the fine folks of this board enjoy it?

First season was great. It went downhill in a hurry. Became unwatchable.

First season for sure

Should I treat it as a one-season show?

First couple of seasons are awesome. I'd highly recommend watching.

The first 2-3 season of getting to where the main character wants to go is top notch material. Really good. Then, it quickly turns into some of the hottest garbage in television history.

The final scene of the second season is a perfect end for the show
Stop there

Don’t watch the final season. I didn’t for years and finally decided to start it. I got two episodes in and stopped. It’s Game of Thrones final season level of awful.

Quit at the end of season 2.

Great 1st season.
One of the most shocking moments in TV history in S2.
All trash after that.

I recommend Season 3 as well. I like seeing Doug Stamper's relationship with Mrs. Maisel reach its conclusion.

First season is fantastic. Second season is ok. After that it blows.

First season is awesome. I remember thinking that it fell off when it got away from reality.
10 years later, I now think it fell off when it got too close to reality.

I think it had 4 good seasons. Season 4 had a 94% on rotten tomatoes, which was the 3rd highest after 1 and 2. S3 took a step back.
5 and 6 were disappointing but watching 1-4 is very entertaining.

Loved it. I've actually re-watched it a couple of times over the years. I agree, it became unwatchable...but I feel like all series just become ridiculous. I have Frank's ringtones as one of my ringtones on my phone.

Don’t forget Rachel Posner’s two reasons to watch
