Just when I think there's no new fresh hell Hollywood can impose upon us, more of this shite dribbles out the a-hole of NetFlix.

anyways, Streets of Laredo kinda sucked, I don't care to see it, but Dead Man's Walk and Comanche Moon were great books and could make for great series.

What is the point of this adaptation other than to woke it up?
The mini-series is perfect.
Robert Duvall delivers one of the best performances ever put on screen.

Streets of Laredo was set after Lonesome Dove. I enjoyed all of this series of books. Lonesome Dove is a masterpiece but the others are good also.

Ive been shopping around waiting for the price to drop.
Last time I checked it was 24.00 on amazon.
I hoping to find it a thrift store for like 3.99
I get excited about thrift store books.

It is my understanding that the definitive version was produced in the 80s. Why are they remaking it when they can just put the original on their streaming service?

Lonesome Dove is my favorite book of all time but McMurtry caught lightning in a bottle with it. His other stuff pales in comparison.
