This isn't world shattering breaking news. Clearly, you're missing the point. Ignorant actress feels it's her role to explain to long time fans of WICKED that making the movie poster resemble the theatrical play poster from like 10 yrs. ago isn't a slight against her or any attack on her RACE.

I'm not even a Broadway fan but even I am very aware of the famous Wicked poster with Elphaba looking down with a smirk on her face. This actress is off her rocker

She's monstrously ugly, you'd swear she had some sort of chromosomal disorder or something. Just repulsive features.
And she's not ugly because she's black, she just happens to be super ugly period. It would have been trivially easy to find a zillion black chicks better looking than her.

Same. The musical poster/Playbill cover is pretty much a Broadway icon by now. It seems borderline psychotic to find offense with this.
Do people like this have zero real friends? I feel like if one of my buddies was making millions starring in a big movie, and they started whining about fan art, I'd just make fun of him or her for eternity.

The multitude of piercings don’t help. Objectively, without them, she is not attractive, and that was apparent when Disney made her the Blue Fairy in the live action version of Pinocchio.

The change made to the poster wasn't racial in any way. All they did was make it look more like the iconic poster for the show. Cynthia Erivo is phenomenally talented but she deserves the backlash she's getting over her ridiculous tirade.
