Vacation movies

It was just perfect for that time frame and Chevy chase. Kids now a days can't relate.

Maybe up until the point where Quint tells the Indianapolis story, movie took a while new turn and vibe in that short moment.

Was cinema magic that can't be duplicated. May be one of my favorite moments in cinema. Perfect actor and delivery.

They could remake The Last Airbender and just follow the cartoon this time, while keeping Shaymalan far, far away from it.

I always bitch about remakes, but I could see this. Unfortunately, SyFy bought the rights to it so they could make that godawful series, and I think they still own it.

A Casablanca remake would cause rioting.

Big Trouble in Little China

I know the rock thinks he can do anything but he's not jack burton.

I can't think of a movie that could be better if remade now.

Can't:
The original Star Wars trilogy
The Rocky Horror Picture Show (no one can replace Tim Curry)
One Flew Over the Cookoos Nest (Jack is just amazing in that movie)
The Texas Chainsaw Masacre (they will never capture that raw, gritty feel of that movie again)
The Exorcist
The Lord of the Rings trilogy
Cadyshack
Any Mel Brooks movie
Labyrinth(Bowie will always be The Goblin King)

Can
48 hours
Mad Max trilogy

I used to think Indiana Jones . . . but give it 10 years.

Dirty Harry movies can't be remade.

I've always thought the meta thing to do with this one is wait until Keanu is a little older, and remake it with Keanu as Milton.

Epic.

Big Trouble is one of my all time favorite movies and I'm against remaking it... BUT, if anyone is gonna do it, the Rock is a great choice. He could pull off the clueless arrogance of Jack Burton and still be in on the joke.

But remakes of Carpenter films have usually been in exercise in demonstrating how great John Carpenter was. I'm looking at you, Assault on Precinct 13. At least The Thing was a reboot, but still only served to remind us how great the original was.

No way they could replicate the performance of Peter Sellers and George C. Scott.
