T2. It's a great movie and is unlike any other. Where the hero cop who saves everyone with impossible odds has been done.

That’s the point. It has been done.
But Die Hard DID IT FIRST!!! All the other copycats
Are just paying homage to Die Hard which is why it should have won. Not taking anything away from T2, as it’s obviously a great film in its on right but honestly fourth at best out of this field of choices.

Die Hard is the action "It's A Wonderful Life"...

T2 I don't rewatch as much because of Furlong.

Predator is a perfect 80s action film and maybe is so over-the-top it should've won based on the criteria but its so one note.

But Die Hard is timeless. An American classic, repeated ten-fold.

As incredibly awesome as Die Hard is, and it's an almost perfect action movie, T2 is just....different. There was nothing really like it and it took the genre beyond what was previously possible IMO. Just the story, the characters, the acting, the action, the SFX, everything was just incredible and hit on basically all notes.

There's maybe an arguable slight downgrade for not being original (since it's a sequel), but it reinvents itself and is completely different from the original in almost every way (since the original is basically a horror movie anyway). And turning Arnold into a hero instead of the big bad was brilliant.

Ultimately, these two most likely deserve to be in the final, and it sort of just comes down to personal preference for me. And while I absolutely love both movies, I like T2 more I think, so it gets my vote.

Predator not winning it all is a travesty.

What was the final vote count for the last round?

I'd have to double check but I think it was a 7 point victory. 44-37 or something like that. Pretty close matchup.
