Vice Admiral Purple Hair Gender Studies from TLJ. She figured out how to use hyperdrive as a weapon, which nobody else had been able to do for 1000 years.

Stephen Hawking - the theory of everything

It’s going to be hard to get a read on this, since almost “smart people” plots involve characters having PhD+ level knowledge of everything, so they de facto have “super human” intelligence.
Tony Stark has to be like, 30 years advanced of every single specialist on earth in computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering.....etc. All while actually running his company and living a playboy lifestyle. Entire country defense budgets and teams of scientists can’t replicate a concept he came up with with spare parts on a whim when he was trapped in a cave.

A few of my choices: Hannibal Lecter (The Silence of the Lambs), Andy Dufresne (The Shawshank Redemption), Ellie Arroway (Contact), John Doe (Se7en), Tony Stark (Iron Man), Dalton Russell (Inside Man), Christian Wolff (The Accountant), Will Hunting (Good Will Hunting).
You're gonna kick yourself.

Can’t believe it took until the 2nd page but Hannibal Lecter

John Nash (played by Russel Crowe in "A Beautiful Mind").
Only one I can think of right now. Will Hunting is probably the smartest ever though. He was an expert in every subject and could solve Fermat's Last Theorem in like 20 minutes.
