And let’s say ordinarily human with no mental enhancements or anything, like Bradley Cooper in Limitless or John Travolta in Phenomenon. And no aliens, mutants, computers, etc.

A few of my choices: Hannibal Lecter (The Silence of the Lambs), Andy Dufresne (The Shawshank Redemption), Ellie Arroway (Contact), John Doe (Se7en), Tony Stark (Iron Man), Dalton Russell (Inside Man), Christian Wolff (The Accountant), Will Hunting (Good Will Hunting).

Great choice, although it’s never really made clear whether or not his intelligence is superhuman.

Watched an interesting one last night. The Next Three Days. I'd nominate Russel Crowe's character from this, John Brennan.
