One thing I never understood about Fast Times, having a job was some kind of status symbol. In my HS, not having to work was a status symbol.

The concept of having a central place where everyone goes (like the mall) is so foreign to me. Other than the group I hung out with, there wasn't a whole lot of social interaction on such a scale at my high school.

There were fewer than 100 in my graduating class, but when I look through the yearbook, there are a lot of people I have absolutely no recollection of.

Damone was a tragic character to me. There were at least two times you could see he felt remorse and you almost felt sorry for him. But his actions were worthy of this title.

Damone is a prick, but I agree with some that Rick from American Virgin was worse.
