Max leads streamers in Subscriber Satisfaction, Netflix is 6th.

I would bet price plays a factor in this. Hulu has run a $2 a month Black Friday special for 3-4 years in a row, and Max is free for AT&T/Cricket Wireless subscribers. That's a lot of people getting good value.
I saw a headline yesterday where Netflix is planning another rate hike soon. It's hard to think you're getting good value out of that. I watched a lot of Korean shows and still ended up cancelling 3 months ago. I'll probably go back at some point, but just for a few month binge to catch up then cancel again.
Prime is the one that should be feeling the heat. Most people view their subscription as "free", and they still can't find anything worth watching. Probably "their" biggest hit this year was Jury Duty, which technically is FreeVee and not Prime.

Is Disney+ just up there because of ESPN (live sports) and Hulu bundle?
Also haven't had Netflix in two years but they must be really frickin' up...If Paramount+ is above them...I had 2 free months and that was enough time to see everything they offer (unless you just wanna keep watching Mission Impossibles over and over again).

Max is definitely solid for a free tie in with AT&T but I feel like most streaming services these days are just schlock. There's like a few good series on each service and then tons of bullshite.

Even in its damaged state, Max is better or as good as the rest. The TCM and HBO blocks alone make it a worthwhile investment, especially since a good chunk of their subscribers think that they get it "free" through their HBO or phone subscriptions.

Peacock had the largest increase.
ETA: I retract that statement. Apple had the largest increase.

going from 90% to 77% seems like a bad thing
but hey, who am I to tell them increasing their prices every 6 months and forcing you to get 4 screens to get 4k even though you cant actually use said 4 screens outside of your house for more than a couple weeks at a time is horseshite?

Netflix still has the most subscribers by a large amount. Max is near the bottom.

What's funny from this chart is I actually watch Peacock the most.

Max is the best value overall.
Netflix is shite with the price that it is and the structure of it. Wouldn’t be so bad if it was the same price as Max or at least offer a 4K package for 150 a year like Max is.
Hulu as a base isn’t bad and is fine for the price.

We have subscriptions to almost all of those and Max and Hulu are the only two I watch. Netflix is a couple great shows and a whole lot of shite.

I don't know why Prime isn't rated higher...yeah you pay $15 a month but that includes the music and free next day shipping, Prime reading, etc.
The value is customizing Prime with adding the streaming channels like MAX, Paramount+, Starz, AMC, Discovery+, etc. that are a third the price of the standalone platforms...never mind the biannual deals where you'll get them for $.99 for 2 months.
Last time I had Max on Prime it was $2.99 a month for 3 months. IDK, it's the easiest way to shuffle your streaming preference without going whole hog in on a platform for a premium price.

Max is the best in overall content
Hulu has great live service
Apple has, far and away, the best original programming
Which is insane, considering how much Amazon is paying to underwhelm with established and wildly popular IP's

Paramount+, and Peacock have been pretty solid the last few months, the same can’t be said for Prime or Netflix. If it wasn’t for brown boxes being delivered several times a week, we wouldn’t have Prime.

Obviously I’m in the minority but I don’t know that I’ve watched a show on Max in months.

Max and Netflix are the only 2 we aren't considering unsubscribing from. Probably going to put Disney+, Paramount, and Peacock on rotation.
