But is expensive as hell, and is the buggiest app.

I tried to like Apple+, did a free trial and then paid for it for a couple months when I forgot to cancel. We were only ever able to get one movie to work and then nothing else would ever open on our Roku app. Uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times.

For us, it's the worst experience we've had with a streaming app.

I really haven't had any issues. Only had it for 2 years, though.

s Disney+ just up there because of ESPN (live sports) and Hulu bundle?

And Star Wars and the MCU. I know this board loves to bitch about that, but Disney+ is pumping out a pretty large amount of new content in those areas.
Just finished Ahsoka, Loki starts today.

I recently added Paramount. When it came out, I wasn't interested in paying for basically just Star Trek stuff. They've added Showtime which raises the value, they have a lot of Tom Cruise movies (the Mission Impossible series), and I didn't know they had the Smithsonian stuff (I've watched some of those documentaries, as well as the Nat Geo stuff on Disney).

I tried Peacock awhile, came away unimpressed. If I recall, I watched The Northman, Mario Brothers, Twisted Metal, and ... that's it. And their app wasn't that userfriendly.

Have had Prime for years, will probably keep it for shipping. But they're not doing a lot to keep people happy; I talked recently to my SIL, who was bitching about FreeVee. I know it's been a couple years, but pushing a bunch of stuff to ad-supported sub-platform sucks. And they whiffed pretty badly with Wheel of Time and Rings of Power; they were set up to become the go-to fantasy service, and missed. I think the last two shows I enjoyed from them were Reacher and Terminal List.

For me, it's because the interface is hot garbage.

The AMC shows they added recently have been good. I'm Watching Killing Eve right now. I watched Dark Winds and Gangs of London before that. Will check out Interview with the Vampire next. Hopefully they get a lot more AMC stuff.

Watching NYPD Blue on Prime right now. I haven't seen it since it aired on ABC. They cut out the female nudity on the Monroe ABC station but left the male stuff. I had forgotten about them not even showing it for part of the first season, and didn't know they cut the female nudity out. I thought men's butts were what all of the church people were mad about. May start watching the PBS WWII series World on Fire soon.

Also watching 1883 on Paramount.

I find it significantly less buggy than Peacock and Crunchyroll, but buggier than Netflix. Hulu is my favorite app overall.

ESPN is the buggiest app BY FAR

I'm glad Optimum recently bought out Suddenlink cable. Before the buyout, Suddenlink made me log out of the app, and then log back in, to watch anything on ESPN3, ESPN+, or SEC Network plus. Really made watching LSU Baseball a hassle. I would cuss ESPN every time I did it thinking it was them.

Similar. The Winning Time rug pull is the deal breaker for me. I'm going to let it expire until they put something on there I want to watch.

Maybe when the Dragsons come back on.

The one that has the cards that "expand" horizontally as you scroll through makes me want to turn it off. Seems like it's the "Amazon Originals" line.

I wish Netflix would allow me to not start a movie before I'm ready. You can't check the movie card out without it starting.
