I have multi year runs of every Spider Man title available from the early-mid 80’s and I never heard of her. Also, what’s up with evil Spider-Man in the Venom costume?

I'm unlikely to see it in theaters. Based on the trailer I'm not a huge fan of some of the characterizations; I also don't see a good way to tie this in to Spider-Man. If they had laid SOME groundwork in, say, No Way Home then sure, but none of these characters have meaning within the MCU or Sony Spider-Verse. I just know their comic origins.
I also prefer Jessica Drew. I doubt we'll get a movie for her though. She would've been great as one of the Netflix shows when they were doing the dark and gritty side of Marvel.

I know it's Sony's attempt to flesh out the rest of the Spiderverse, but it's making Spiderman look like an a-hole

She would appear every great once in a while, she sort of died in the late 90s (I think) but was reincarnated.
This looks like Sony just attempting to keep the Spiderman franchise IP from reverting back to Marvel by putting out anything with any Spider-verse characters they can slap on film. They aren't focusing on quality, just speeding shlock out there and hoping enough people pay to see it to cover their costs.

I have no idea who the black girl spider is suppose to be but I heard Julia so, Julia Carpenter is in there and possible the second one is Jessica Drew. Again no clue on the black girl.
