Man I don’t know about Peter McCallister but if my brother called one of my kids a little jerk like that, the scene where Kevin straight up blasts Buzz over the cheese pizza. We would have been throwing hands.

Why does old man Marley drop Kevin off at his empty house after almost getting mutilated by criminals? Seems irresponsible to not try to check in with his parents. Was he going to leave an 8 year old home alone indefinitely?

Thought this same exact thing last night... you think he would have told Kevin to stay with him until his parents got home, and then been there when his parents got home to explain what happened.
In Home Alone 2 you think Kevin's parents would have gone ape shite over the news that the Wet Bandits escaped from prison. It's as if they never had any idea that Kevin and the Wet Bandits had a feud and he was responsible for putting them in the slammer. Like Kevin and Old Man Marley had a pact to keep it a secret between them.

Right, did Peter never talk to his neighbor whose house was robbed and flooded while they were both on vacation. Pretty sure that would have come up in conversation at some point.

i'm giving that one the benefit of the doubt that it happened right then and they just hadn't seen any reports on it while traveling and dealing with losing Kevin again. With the lack of cell phones and stuff, if they weren't watching national news they may not see the story for a while.

How does anyone not wake up before 8am in that house? Especially the parents. Guessing they drank to much night before and were sleeping one off?
