I mean, the JW movies aren't anywhere as good as the original JP, but there's plenty of the ethical questions in these movies.

They essentially threw together the script using unused ideas from the first two books.

But you're probably right.

*** Spoilers below ***

The entire plot is shite.

Lava doesn't work that way.

We already did genetic hybrids in the first JW.

The villains are fricking cartoon characters, without beards to stroke or mustaches to twirl.

The little girl is a clone, who gives a shite?

Bryce Howard doesn't show her tits.

Pratt( who I actually really like) is essentially neutered in this movie, he's not funny, not even a little bit, wasted character.

The computer nerd is a useless character, I don't care if he dies, but he doesn't, in fact, the dinosaurs don't eat any of the Good Guys, or even Neutral guys in the entire movie. Or did they, I could have missed a good guy death when I was rolling my eyes.

"Their alive, like I'm alive".

What did the mosasaurus eat for 3 years?

How did they get mosasaurus DNA anyway? Mosquitoes don't suck blood underwater.

Wait, the park was built on an island with an active volcano? WHAT?

The Indoraptor is apparently completely immune to tranqs. Ok then, Dr. Wu, which animal DNA possesses this characteristic? I'll wait.

A raptor can get a blood transfusion with T-rex blood because... 3 claws.

I was willing to overlook the ridiculous idea of using dinosaurs for military operations in JW because the movie was actually entertaining, but NO, not gonna do it this time, because it's fricking stupid.

I concede that the Indoraptor does look cool as shite and the CGI is better than JW, but that's literally the only redeeming factor in this movie.

I don't understand how someone could have gone and seen this movie, then come back and bitch about it. Everyone knew EXACTLY what this movie was, so if you either went in thinking this would be an expertly written script with phenomenonal actors in every single role, or you just had no idea what you were getting into, that's on you because of your own ignorance.

I agree.

The movie didn’t make me angry, but it was pretty bad.

I just got to where I was chuckling at the absurdity of it, which is saying a lot because it is a movie about dinosaurs eating people.

The things I laughed at the most were the transfusion scene, the absurdity of the villains, the entire “do we release them or don’t we release them concept”, the clone girl and her absolutely stupid quote, Dr. Wu’s twiddly mustache evilness, and other things I have since forgotten.

My GF and I both laughed out loud at the transfusion scene. “Find one with three fingers.”

Also, I started wondering whether they told the clone to make very bad facial expressions purposely as a throwback to Lex in JP.

Also, why would anyone be worried about dinos in the world now? There are only singles and they won’t live very long. For example, there is only one raptor. She is no threat.

Like I said in my original post on this movie, you really have to turn your brain off.

However, one hilarious nitpick was how the baddy, apparently, had TWO super secret mercenary groups. Why? Because the island leader stumbled upon the Indoraptor post-auction and had no idea what was going on, yet there were plenty of mercs assisting at the actual auction.

Also the rich guy had billions he could have laundered, instead he grosses $100M?

Also, I'm sure this has been said before but the prices are WAY low. A T-Rex skeleton once went for $7+M once, iirc.

Or how all of those people and vehicles moved around the Lockwood mansion without anyone knowing at all. I always love that in movies with secret lairs.

Did the scientists live there or did they commute daily?

Not a very smart guy.

No kidding.

They would have been more expensive on the black market too. Those dinos would go for $50-100 million a piece. Easily.

I saw the previews for Jurassic world and had no desire whatsoever to see it. It looked really bad.

No, you never hate it. You just let people know it wasn't that good.

Finally saw this and..... wow.

Not sure I'd say it's worse than JP3 as nothing will ever top the stupidity of the "Alan" Raptor but holy shite this was as stupid movie. I don't even know where to begin. The entire set up, the dumb reasons to bring characters back, the former partner made up out of thin air, clone grandchild, Buffalo Bill's tooth necklace, releasing a fricking T-Rex on the mainland just because... oh, and then the bait and switch from the trailer that made it look like the dinos would be on mainland ripping through a city when that was just mid credit footage.

This feels like it was written in less than a week and then got rewritten all during shooting.
