Phil is a business man, but he's been banging the drum as far as cooperation between the platforms for a while. Feels it can only be good for the game industry if they work together and not be so tight assed about cross play and other issues. He was even quoted saying there should be cross banning, meaning if you get banned on the PC on 2042, if you try to go to the PS5 that ban carries over to there.

I think that's a bit much, but point is, at least on the surface, he's not out to crush Sony. Microsoft will be smart about it and make the right business moves, but I believe him when he says they'll honor all previous agreements.

Going forward is a different story.

all that matters right now

My wife just had a baby, and the pediatrician doing the rounds majored in Public Health, and he said all the same things:

1. This thing is more contagious than the flu.

2. The death rate is higher than the flu.

3. We are still in the learning process.

It has similarities to the flu, but right now is the worst time for it, and we won't be in the "oh it's just covid" for some time.

nope

people just won't let this go, will they?

First this is a new virus. That means our bodies have not seen this virus before and we are unlikely to have any antibodies. This virus seems to be spreading through the human population much faster than flu, and part of that has to do with the fact that all of us are susceptible. With the flu, most of us are carrying some level of antibody protection from a previous year’s exposure or from a vaccine. Additionally, the case fatality rate is estimated to be 10 times higher for COVID-19 that the flu. Lastly, this virus is new to medical personnel, too. They are learning how best to both take care of patients and possibly treat it.

There's no need to panic, but by all means be cautious.

Yeah. Let's get upset over preventive measures to not allow what's happening in Italy to happen to us where our ER's and ICU's are overrun with caronavirus cases and can't deal with traumatic car crashes and other emergencies.

Just because you can't die from it doesn't mean you can't be a carrier. It's about limiting exposure.

And maybe they should have reacted this way to H1N1.

Are you capable of responding like an adult? I'm noticing not.
I mean, I'm the remains aren't all just sitting in some warehouse somewhere. Some are probably harder to acquire than others.

Absolutely. But it's been proven over the history of that regime that no amount of negotiating and goodwill will be enough to sway them from doing whatever the hell they want.

At some point, we will be at war with that country.
CNN and Washington Post are reporting it.

You guys tell me who you believe and I'll try to find something.

I didn't think that was a commentary.

Regardless of who is president and who we send over there, do we really ever expect North Korea to stop being North Korea?

still a small sample size in each year

Saints had an offense that moved the ball that year, and Morstead was rarely needed to "flip the field". You look at the teams who's punter was at the top in average, almost all of the top ten in average were on teams with garbage offenses. In 2009 and 2011, he was near the bottom of the league in actual punts. In '11, a team who most here would agree SHOULD have won it all, he was actually #2 in net average.
Maybe it's message boards in general, but I've never seen a place so actively work to justify the fact that they simply don't give a shite about anybody but themselves.
