They should have at least married Christopher and Adrianna

The show made perfect sense except Christopher getting married almost immediately after Ade was taken out. Christopher’s storyline sucked after Ade was killed, but his marriage was the worst part.

Once again, Chirstopher was given so many chances....Tony came to the realization that Christopher would never be able to kick his drug habit, and a user can't be trusted. Tony thought Chris would eventually flip and rat Tony and his crew out.

I thought it showed how herky-jerky and spontaneous he was, which was not good for that line of work. He was always going off half-cocked

I always had a question about how much you had to pay the boss his cut of a deal you did. Like when Paulie found all that money in the drug house.

I honestly thought it was more about not wanting his new baby to have a junkie for a father at the time of the convenient way for him to die.

Seemed to me I heard them say in one of the episodes it was 10% each level up to the boss, but that might not be right.

My favorite quote I still use.

Adrianna: I love you Chris-ta-fur

Chris: You better!!!

That was the excuse he was using to subconsciously justify his actions. But the therapy session dream with Melfi is Tony being honest about why he did it.

Yeah but they didn't show that. He just ends up married in a mcmansion with a new wife we never really meet.

Ehh I think Chris’ storyline in Season 6 is him finally becoming disenchanted with the Mafia and with Tony. He’s gotten everything a made guy would want - wife, kids, money and a McMansion. But for Chris it’s like a “this is it?” moment. He betrayed the love of his life. And all he has gotten out of it is material things with a material wife he doesn’t even love. This is why he slips back into drugs and starts to downright hate Tony.

I think Christopher’s whole arc is one of the most complex of any TV show.

Good points. He even ends up w/ Johnny Sac's Maserati that the feds take because he didn't get a title.

How can it be okay if it’s askew?

I’ll take that discman and ram it up your box!

Just finished it for the 9th time and will probably start again soon. Lol

When it started I lived in Virginia and things were good, but when I moved to NY and made many trips to NJ did I really start to understand more and enjoy it that much better.

My brother-in-law went to school with the son of the owner of Satin Dolls (bada bing) and made a few trips there just to say I did…..and the titties

Tony cared about Tony and his interests.

He did see it as a legitimate, there will be no questions asked type of way for him to permanently get rid of Christopher. He was tired of Christopher and wanted him out of his life and even said as much when he was speaking with Dr Melfi about it and even to Carmela when he asked her if she felt relief when she heard he had died. Tony was projecting his feelings when he said that to Carm.

The thing that was more dislikable to me was the Tony cared more about animals than humans

Oddly enough that's what I liked most about him. I can easily value a dog over a shite human being.

Were the girls at the real club as good looking as the ones on the show?

I think Chris would’ve died or been permanently disabled after that wreck anyway. He looked pretty bad off.

I think Christopher's story ended perfectly. Was it the ending that the audience who watched Chris for years wanted? No. Is it the most appropriate way for his character to go out? Yes.

It was a perfect ending that showed how irredeemable Tony was. Not only did he kill Chris, but he was the one that caused his relapse. Chris had a wife and a kid on the way (if I recall correctly). He was the "Happy Wanderer" that Tony despised, so Tony fricked it all up.

I've said this for years. he's the most underrated character in the history of television.
