It’s a movie that ends with Bin Laden getting shot in the face, how bad could it be?

But yes, it’s pretty damn good

Totally robbed at that year`s Oscars over PC bullshite.

Also a sneaky good year for movies.

Django, Skyfall, Silver Linings Playbook.. And Argo beat them all.

Zero Dark Thirty was far superior to Argo, which I saw when it came out and have never watched again.

Zero Dark Thrirty in the movie theater was a phenomenal experience and for A brief moment there, Kathryn Bigelow was one of the best directors on the planet after Hurt Locker and Dark Thirty back to back...then she wasn't.

I thought it was a tactical, doc style thriller more than anything. It's one of the better movies of the last decade.

It's not my favorite movie or anything, but I watch every other month or so. I just never really get tired of it

Then how often do you watch movies that are your favorite?

Less, probably

For whatever reason I watch Sicario and ZDT all the time over the last couple years.

They really spent some effort getting the personality of the SEAL’s and the assault part right. Showing things like the ride in and the aftermath are parts you never see in movies.

In my prior life, I was involved in some stuff and at first you expect it to end like in the movies where everything is on a high and then the credits roll. In real life, you are doing crazy shite one minute and then it ends and everyone is kind of standing around. Then you are back home trying to find something to eat or catching up on email or what not. Kind of surreal. I really thought ZDT captured that part of it well.

James Gandolfini
Chris Pratt
Mark Strong

Gandolfini and Strong particularly nailed their small parts. Stole every scene they were in IMO.
