I haven’t watched since Joe left, but they weren’t really dicks to people, their pranks made themselves out to be the idiots. That’s why it works.

Any Real Housewives of Potomac, Atlanta, you get the picture. I was subjected to enough of them to create an informed opinion. I have a "can tolerate" or, "it's fine," such as New Jersey, OC, BH, etc. (to view with ex wife without being totally distracted) view of most of the rest. That's a signal I'm going to bed dearly.

I got burned by liking TV shows like Jericho, unexpectedly canceled, that I just stopped watching almost anything until it was at least 3 seasons in. That protected me from pop culture for the most part (Lost, etc.) I still haven't watched most of those kinds of shows, but I'm sure I'd hate them. Once I identified the characteristics of shows designed for young adults/tweens (Riverdale, etc.) I just stopped bothering.
