I like her, actually. But the Velma show is an epic failure it seems like.

Sam Worthington has to be the worst actor in Hollywood. He hasn't produced a single second of footage that makes me think he's somewhat passable.

I don’t think he’s untalented just replaceable.

Joel Kinnemon (sp,) Sam Worthington, Joel Edgerton, Jai Courtney, and Boyd Holbrook all bring nothing more or less to their roles.

Regarding Kaling, I don’t think she’s untalented by any stretch, just obnoxious.

She was a pretty influential writer for the office so chances are everyone on this board has in fact laughed at her work at some point.

I don't think her solo work is all that, but ffs there's about a thousand other people to dig on who are far worse

She was great in the office.

I think her other show was awful though.

I think The Velma show is a big fat turd, but she wrote a lot for the office/her character was funny on the office.

My wife likes the Mindy Project.

There are thousands of less talented people out there.

The new Scooby Doo is awful, but I liked most of the Mindy Project.

That's how I feel. Based on everything we have seen and heard since The Office, I can't comprehend how someone like her could have been that influential on something as funny and groundbreaking as The Office. With a guy like Larry Daivid, we are reminded of his influence on Seinfeld every time he opens his mouth or writes something. She's the opposite of that.

I mean, she got the credits for those things. You think the other writers and producers were like "hey we like Mindy let's put her name on this episode so she can get a credit!"

She's plenty talented as an actress; its her writing that appears to be horribly lacking.

Is agree with all these but Jai Courtney, I feel like he started off terrible but has improved a good bit. He was one of the bright spots in both Suicide Squad movies , and was solid in the Netflix Kaleidoscope show.

Nic Cage is a great actor. Hush your mouth.

However he will act in just about anything offered him so he’s been in some shite roles of late.

And Joel Kinnemon was great in Altered Carbon and Edgerton was in Warrior.

Just that they all don’t bring anything extra than generic well built white dude.

Hollywood is a strange place where people like Pauly Shore can star in multiple movies

Nepotism. His father owned the Laugh Factory which was "the spot" to develop "comedic" talent. His dad was an insider and Pauly through nepotism and narcissism got elevated to stardom. The Hollywood system is a scam.

Vin Diesel, aka Mark Sinclair, "His mother, Delora Sherleen Vincent (née Sinclair), is an astrologer.[6] He was raised by his white mother and adoptive African-American father, Irving H. Vincent, an acting instructor and theater manager." Again, inside track.

Agreed. Four Weddings and a Funeral and Never Have I Ever are solid shows. I never really got into watching The Sex Lives of College Girls, but it seems watchable based on the bits I saw when my wife was watching.

That said. Velma = Trash

Mindy isn't talentless, imo, but she's clearly bit off more than she can chew in trying to self-insert herself and create her Velma project. She needed to be told it was terrible, but because she checks certain boxes, no one was going to step forward.
