Kattan only did characters who were clearly gay.

Kattan had a few funny characters that weren't gay.

His duo with Oterri where they were the couple that got way to sexual was funny.

His Shazbot white trash husband to Poehler on Cops was funny.

Mr. Peepers wasn't gay.

Personally my least favorite SNL cast member has to be Fred Armisen.

I miss having Will Forte and Jason Sudeikis on there.

Up vote. She is terribly unfunny and annoying at the same time.

She's awful, but no one quite pisses me off like Vanessa Bayer. At least I'm not subjected to Jones that often.

Going to have to go back and watch every SNL ever now. Should only take about 3-4 years.

I love this narrative. Kevin James is a much better human being, and he deserves his success.

This has nothing to do with who is a better human being. James would win that fight you're right.

No one is getting paid for being a good person. They are getting paid to be funny and bring people in. Since they're are essentially exactly the same in style, it comes down to who's funnier which isn't even a legit question.

She gets no respect from working comics.

I know this 100% to be not true

She was funny in Ghost Chasers, almost hoping that's her role in Ghostbusters. She's just very limited in what she can do. That or nobody knows what to write for her. She's bombed some SNL skits though on a level I've never seen before.

Parnell is sort of like a "Phil Hartman Light". Not the real star, but he could really hold a skit together. You knew the writers really depended on him for a lot of sketches simply how monotone and damn dry he was, but also play it completely straight.

damn this is a great description. I've loved Parnell on SNL and he was gold on 30 Rock.

I haven't seen every episode ever but Chris Parnell is the worst I've seen.

What in the...?? I love his raps when would serenade certain stars. And, he was half of "Lazy Sunday", which is in the SNL HOF.

shes god awful. i literally cant watch her anymore and will FF through her scenes

she was hired because of the pressure on Lorne Michaels to hire a black woman.

seriously, she just stares at the cue cards for her scenes and all she does is yell. i dont get it

Nora Dunn

She wasn't funny to begin with but when she refused to appear on the episode hosted by Andrew Dice Clay, she should have been shitcanned immediately IMO.

What pisses me off more than anything is that they already have a pretty funny black chick on the show in Sasheer Zamata. And she is almost never on the show.

Why Colin Jost continues to ram Michale Che and Leslie Jones down our throats while never using Zamata or Jay Pharoah is crazy to me.

And on a note about Michael Che, the skit he does where Bobby plays Riblet, when Bobby actually sits still and reads the news in those skits he is a better anchor than either Jost or Che. They should give him the desk and go back to a one person format. I know the deal has been the head writer gets the update desk since Fey took it over but it's time for a switch.

Knowing what you do, I'm sure you do know some comics IRL. Can you give us any real world examples of how that statement wasn't true? Like...have you heard people say "ya know, leslie jones is REALLY funny. So talented and I really respect what she's doing" and it not be lip service?

Because she is awful.

She'd be better if not for her need to dominate every skit with her loudness. She doesn't have the subtle craftiness of quality comedians.

Yup. And that's the reason that quotas are ridiculous. Instead of having the best person for the job you get someone who is shoehorned in and is subpar. Affirmative action is awful in every instance.
