yea but how is an inner city mob boss type a worthwhile challenge to be summoned at a beckon while traveling on an interplanetary scale? the guardians were just murdered.

Holy hell! That last episode was intense.
That was just awesome to see.
It's really some good writing to be confused on who you are pulling for.
It's obvious Omni Man's intentions aren't stellar but damn, you kinda have to enjoy watching a super powerful entity going all out.
And the little side stories add a good depth.
This shite made me geek out on the best levels.

I'm pretty sure that was the most brutal episode of television I have ever seen in my life.
They did an amazing job adapting the source material for it, and everywhere they expanded on it, they went as hard as they possibly could.

That episode was right up there with any Amazon original ever released as far as I’m concerned, it did exactly what it needed to do, entertain me and my son and leave us wanting more. I don’t know anything about the comics so I’m excited for what’s to come.

So this was by far the most enjoyable "surprise" show that I've watched in a long time. By "surprise" in that, I knew nothing about it and went in by just the recommendation of this thread.
I need more. And I need more soon. I loved everything about this show.
They seem to be setting up some type of galactic war with his people, so I'm sure we will see him again next season.

The way they portray Omniman’s opinion of humans is spot on of what I always thought an omnipotent being would think of us. He sees us as no more than ants or roaches. Referring to his wife as a pet was brilliant.
If all Viltrumites are as strong as OM, I see no way that earth has a chance. Unless there’s some sort of kryptonite weakness that gets discovered, we are fricked.
I loved how they gave us a sneak peek at all the things happening around the earth and Mars that will probably turn in to season 2 episodes.
I’m glad I started this thread, it may me the only one I’ve ever posted seems to have universal agreement. A rare thing on TD :)

ya im sure the martian-parasites will create some type of threat that has to rally some of the bad guy types to unite with the guardians to ward off the viltrum invasion.
theres now that army of droids which 3 gave OM some minor difficulty fighting too.
