Well that's honestly shocking.

Is there any way to stream it somewhere? I haven't seen it on any platforms that I use (NF, Prime, Tubi, HBO Max, D+).

On Netflix now, or Prime. One of the two.

Netflix, you have to rent it, buy it, or do a 7 day free trial of AMC on Prime.

So are you saying it is on NF, or only on Prime available for rent?

FWIW, I was asking if it was available to stream for free.

I have a feeling it gets better on multiple watches and you find subtle new things each time

Its not really subtlety, there are simply too many jokes to possibly catch them all the first time.

Also amazing that for all the hundreds of punchlines and dozens of mocking pop culture references, one of the most memorable gags is just that chick's boobs falling out while they're landing.

It is currently on Netflix for sure

ETA: Only for rent on Prime unless you have AMC Channel

Good deal. Just bookmarked it in my phone.

And I am adding Airplane! to my NF list tonight. Hope to watch it soon.

I had never seen it until a few months ago and quickly realized why it's considered one of the best. So many funny parts.

I lost it on the jive part and the 'i take my coffee black' scene had me rolling.

One gag that I didn't notice on my first few watches was at the end of the dog scene when the pilot walks through the mirror.

LINK

Police Squad! got a Blu-ray release not too long ago. That's one of the few things on the same level as Airplane! for me.

I agree, but Airplane isn’t a Mel Brooks movie.

If you watch really close, he actually steps over the bottom of the frame, like it is a knee knocker on a ship.
