I watched airplane for the first time

Shirley you've got to be kidding.

A thread on here about it last week inspired me to watch. First time in awhile. Still a classic, I was cracking up the whole time

I have a feeling it gets better on multiple watches and you find subtle new things each time

Airplane Drinking Problem


I can't tell you how many times as a teen I would throw a glass of water on my face and say, "obviously I've got a drinking problem".

Just yesterday I was helping to move something, used the “Clearance Clarence” line and it turned into an Airplane quote-fest.

The callback to that in Scary Movie 3 had me laughing my arse off.

My first wife, who had never seen Airplane, had no idea why it would be funny. Definitely one of those bits that required you to see the previous instance to get the joke.

I've never seen Airplane!. Well, not all the way through at least. I recorded it a while back, but when I went to watch it I realized it was on a channel that has commercials, meaning that it was likely an edited version of it. So I didn't watch it.

Is there any way to stream it somewhere? I haven't seen it on any platforms that I use (NF, Prime, Tubi, HBO Max, D+).
