The Dragon Pit
I don't believe every castle has a dragon pit. If you guys will remember last season when both Aemond and Luke went to Storm's End, you could see Vhagar off in the distance while Luke landed his (much smaller) dragon in the courtyard.
I assume they kind of chill close to the castle. Maybe they eat a spare goat or just sleep the entire time?

They have servants that bring them food
Again... not every castle houses dragons. I think the only places that currently "permanently" house dragons with servants is King's Landing and Dragonstone.

This makes no sense. If she would have taken out Aemond then how was it going to be her last ride? Was she to commit suicide afterwards?
I'm confused by your opinion. Do you think that she had no intention of killing Vhagar? I think she realized it was a slim chance and said her goodbyes to her dragon just in case.
Also, If she had killed both Sunfyre and Vhagar, the war is over anyway so it would still constitute as her last ride into war.

I suspect she would have disappeared. Go see what's west of Westeros, I don't know. All I know is that she was done with everyone's shite.

1) so when they fly off to other castles/etc, where do they park the dragon?
2) what does the dragon do while the rider is wandering castles, sleeping, having visions, etc?
3) who feeds the dragon?
The answer to all 3 is that the dragons go into the PokeBall until the rider releases them again.
Also I think we should call this the Helaena thread, not the Hodor thread. She is also very simple of the mind and has no idea whats happening despite sort of knowing the future.

Oh, then we agree. Had she pulled off the unthinkable she woulda flown to KL and took shite in Alicent's bed.

I didn’t realize dragons exploded when they crashed.

Only if they have a full fuel tank.

Dragonfire alone can't melt steel castle beams.

I think it’s pretty obvious Rhaenys was just over everything at that point.
She lost so much prior to Vyserys death (all of S1 events)
Corlys kept leaving her
Corlys cheated on her
Corlys didn’t agree with her succession thoughts
Rhaenyra couldn’t stop the war through Alicent (the last ditch effort which she was pushing)
So she just YOLOd it hoping to end everything right then and there, and if she could t she didn’t want to be around for this war anyway.
And that’s also not taking into account that Vhager might have been able to catch her if she tried to flee, anyway.

Their blood is pretty much fire. Remember the soldiers on the ground being burned by the falling dragon blood.

Meleys is (was) the fastest dragon in Westeros so she would not have been caught.

Didn't get into the GOT thing until it was almost over.
Binged the entire series.
It sucks having to wait for new episodes.

That was a rough one. Rhaenys was the last real one left on the show.
Great episode though. I'm assuming Aegon isn't dead. Aemond pulled his sword before Cole showed up and I assume it was to finish off Aegon.
Yet another horrific thing happened on Cole's watch while he wasn't protecting his King. I wonder what his next promotion will be!

Even if Aegon isn’t dead he’s definitely out of commission for some time if not permanently since he might be fully paralyzed. Also looks like Aemond is taking his spot, that is not a great thing. Wonder what Dameon has planned with Harrenhal despite their rather weak army. Blacks seemed to be having taken some significant losses so far waiting for shite to turn around for them although I guess Aegon’s status is definitely going to cause major internal problems for the Greens
