No shock here, the premiere was HBO’s most watched premiere of all time LINK /

Well, we did have a 13 page thread of people whining the show was too woke now and would fail.

So I guess, looks like that bubble’s burst

Think about it like this, people had a negative reaction about the character Daario Naharis’ physical portrayal in the original series which had nothing to do with the actors race. It’s no different here only in this case there was an agenda behind it.
year he's a terrible actor

The show may be a huge success, but it’s still a bit early to start engraving the Emmy after one episode.

don’t know that you get 5 seasons out of it where the story has started and an apparent time jump to an adult Rhanerys. Chances are it’s closer to 3 unless they decide to go beyond the Fire and Blood text.

Hasn't HBO signed off on 2 other GoT spin-offs? I would think this is 3 seasons at max with the others starting after, not during, to get as much promotion as possible.

Wonder how the merge will affect that?

I would think more time jumps would have to come too

I want a Hot Pie spin-off. Maybe something like The Bear on F/X where Hot Pie takes over the Inn at the Crossroads.

I’m not talking about the CGI but the dragons seem “lanky” compared to Dragoon

HBOMAX has a look ahead feature showing a dragon in action. I believe we've only seen juvenile dragons so far because the one they show is huge.

Apparently one is Queen Nymeria's voyage, one is about Snow, still would love The Long Night. Robert's Rebellion would be fun, but I think less so given we already know so much about it.

There are hundreds of potential series. If you read the histories the fat man has written, it’s pretty amazing.

Yeah the pan to the baby body was more brutal for me than the c-section actually. I think I winced in real life.

Haven't read anything about it. Waiting a few episodes to potentially dive in and get my heart broken. How was it?

Daario Naharis character was hated because he's a crappy character in the books as well as the show, is a terrible actor, a guy with no charisma playing a character that one of his few redeeming traits is charisma. Add to the fact that he was a replacement for someone who played the role better. Nobody cared about his physical appearance.

Been a little while since I’ve read the book so I started again.

I wonder if we get to the see the Cannibal down in this show, would be awesome to see on screen.

I agree that Daemon looks too much like an elf even my wife made the comment without me saying anything.

I can’t wait until this show really gets going, the battle scenes if done correctly will put the GOT series to shame.

Saw the first episode...It makes the ending of Got where danerys going mad queen make sense (not bran being king) if you start paying attention to the targareyn family behavior

Is there supposed to be a line above Aemma Arryn’s picture? Would explain a lot.
