Who plays Gregg Williams?

How much of the script did Payton have to sign off on?

Seems like an okay premise for a kids movie. Just seems a little weird to make it "about" Sean Payton. Would've worked just as well if they told the same story without that connection.

Is this a Happy Madison production? Is that how Kevin James gets cast as Sean Payton?
It has to be, its got all Sandler's usual's in it. I don't under stand why the chose Payton, why not make it a fictional team?
ETA It is a Happy Madison Production and it was filmed in New Orleans.

If you are 25+, you really arent the target of Happy Madison movies. just like it's always been.

Hell yeah I want stuffed crust, what kind of question is that?

C’mon Kevin James. You can’t do Sean Payton without doing duckface. Boo this man.

Look, does it look great? No. Does it even look good? Also no. But frick it, I'll watch it one night when there's nothing else on...

That kid is essentially the new goldberg in the Mighty Ducks Disney+ show.

Do they have the subplot of Sean Payton stealing Vicodin from the team doctor & subsequent FDA investigation getting swept under the rug?

We all knew this day would come, but was Frankie Muniz not available?

His daughter’s b/f wrote it, so I assume he signed off on a good bit.

I think he’s more Averman than Goldberg. Maybe a combo of the two at most.

It's basically if Adam Sandler remade Little Giants. Laughed at how they had Kevin James in Saints attire in almost every scene. I'm sure that Payton wears his visor everywhere he goes.

Just finished it. I chuckled a good bit. When Conner asked him if “they really did it” (bountygate) they sidestepped him actually answering. Said something like “head coach is responsible for the whole team”. Sounds like the NFL had to sign off too, to allow some of the footage and shots around the Superdome.
All in all, I don’t hate that I watched it, but I wouldn’t tell anyone to “go watch it now” or anything.
Kind of a spoiler.
ETA: when SP made his cameo as the janitor, and told the SP character “we are glad you are back, because we sucked without you”; that shite hit hard with him stepping away from the team. frick.

What makes you say that? I’ve always liked him going back to King of Queens
