I still think the Tickler should have gone as in the book. But Jaquen is a great character. Strange how he is just there, captured to go to the wall. Yet is obviously capable of almost anything.
Does she know about Winterfell yet?

I'm anxious to see what Cersai has done to make Tyrion say "I will hurt you for this" on next weeks previews....

yeah, I thought a lot of people knew
Everyone suspects it however only a few people KNOW with 100% certainty
Well an Arryn, an Baratheon; a Stark all knew. But they are all dead.

A few weeks ago I was critical of the decision to have Rickon sitting next to Bran noisily cracking nuts while Bran dealt with his vassals. I thought it was distracting. In hindsight it was great foreshadowing, in particular solving one man's problem by sending him two orphans. Clearly a great use of Checkhov's gun type of technique. It got me wondering what else has been shown that is seemingly irrelevant only to be important later on. On my first re-read I was amazed about the amount of foreshadowing, one early case was the fact that the mother direwolf the Starks found had been killed by a stag, as it had an antler stuck in its throat.
Great post...never even thought of the "walnuts" until you justr posted this.
I think Im in the camp of Jaime Lannister growing on me. Brash and non apologetic at all. Killing his own cousin to escape....wow. Jaime calling Brienne a "beast" had me
Havent seen it posted but Im thinking the 3rd person Arya has killed is is Tywin Lannister...she thought about this episode but Im thinking this duty passes on to Jaqen H'ghar as his last act of repaying his debt to her.

While you are 100% correct in your assessment, Catelyn said as much to Ned that night. She said it was a bad omen.....ala, Robert shows up, asks Ned to be hand, Bran "falls".

dany needs to pack on more weight to make it realistic, IMO. black dudes like their women more plump than that.
Her arse is pretty thick.

Me too. One scene shows them being sincere with each other, then the previews come. My guess is she takes away his "girlfriend"
I have a feeling Jon joins the wildlings. Even if only temporary to save his azz.
Arya and Tywinn keep playing cat & mouse. He knows she is of noble birth, but can't place her. But I think he honestly enjoys her company.
Still curious to find out who the "nurse" is in Robb's camp.
The dragons and Theon's storylines aren't doing it for me right now.

I think this would be the only way to get to him. He seem to go through some trouble to keep her safe.

Ygritte told him that Mance would take him and the wildling women would fight to be with him.

Tywinn seems to enjoy her thoughts on things. He did tell her to watch it, she was still talking to a Lord....can't remember exactly what was said though.

I had high hopes for Theon....good or evil, I just want to see something compelling, and, you are right, it isn't working.
The dragons, as we know, will take time. I'm willing to wait because I feel the payoff will be worth it.

He was calling BS on her father being a stone mason. Something like "He was a well read stone mason? I haven't met many of them." To which she responded "How many stone masons have you met, my lord?"

I could see this. Maybe joining for good to hold the wall together against the White Walkers?? And then Jon becoming the new King of the (far) North if/when the skull face guy dies?

I don't think so. It looked like, in the previews for next week, he escapes.

Does anyone think the skull face guy could be Snow's uncle? Defected from the realm?

Doubt it. Arya seems to go for people she despises or are direct threat to her. I don't think she hates Tywin as an individual, since it seems like Tywin seems to look at her as ideal daughter material and treats her well. She's going to save it for someone she despises.

When did they talk about his Uncle? I don't seem to recall that. What's the story here?
