The target audience (8 year old kids) will love it.

Like I said earlier, this film will not compare favorably to Godzilla Minus One with its 15$M budget, and I have only watched trailers of the two.

Let's face it... you don't go to a Godzilla/Kong movie looking for good storytelling or compelling character development. You go for BIG MONSTERS FIGHTING.

It looks bad, but I have always been a sucker for giant monster/robot movies and I can't wait to see it. I grew up on Ultra Man reruns, so frick it.

As much as I do like these dumb but fun movies I do hope we go back to more serious tones in the next Godzilla movie. Need to see Destoryah but he only works with a more serious tone
