Oh my shite. I've got goosebumps. I was obsessed as a kid for Godzilla.

The fight between him and Ghidorah is supposedly the tits.
Are they gonna let us see it or will they close the shipping container door as it starts?

They supposedly did a secret test screening of an unfinished product (bunch of FX shots mainly) and apparently they listened to the negative feedback and the screen time for ALL the monsters is WAY up. And there are multiple EPIC fights, with the Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah one going for 15 minutes to end the movie.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters is an upcoming American monster film directed and co-written by Michael Dougherty. It is a sequel to Godzilla (2014) and will be the 35th film in the Godzilla franchise, the third film in Legendary's MonsterVerse, and the third Godzilla film to be completely produced by a Hollywood studio.

I feel like I remember another trailer that used that exact version of Clair de Lune.
What am I thinking of?

Does every movie today have to have a female protagonist / main character?

I don’t get why in these movies there’s this want to show as little as the monsters as possible, it’s a fricking Godzilla movie, thats all audience wants. You need to be told to increase the monster screen time?

So is this a true sequel to the Godzilla movie from a few years ago? In the same universe as Kong: Skull Island?
ETA: never mind. Was already answered.

Anybody else disappointed they changed Godzilla's iconic roar in the last movie to something closer to JP's T-Rex roar?

That actually looks pretty damn good

Those cgi shots are expensive. You are correct though. I don't care about the human characters in these type of movies. I just want giant monster fights.

Looks good. Guessing the plot is going to be pretty straight forward, scientist/group of scientists (maybe a couple of politicians/business people) come up with an idea to fix global warming... find these things everything will be fine. But this group either wittingly or unwittingly kills millions of folks... military and good scientists have fix the problem enter Godzilla.
Nope. The villains in this movie release king ghidorha(think monster x and alien overlords want to destroy/conquer earth) and Godzilla, Rodan, and mothra are called forth to protect the earth(basically just like every other Godzilla vs (insert monster here) movie and even Godzilla 2014. The king of all monsters doesn’t rise until he senses another monster on his turf.

Rodan's wings were on fire, and the wind from his flying was like a blast wave on the ground below!
Rodan, and most of the fliers, flew so fast that he produced sonic shockwaves that toppled buildings. That’s really always been a Rodan thing.
As for the smoldering wings, perhaps its just friction from the air as it flies fast.
The early Toho monsters all have ridiculous air speeds, like Mach 20+.
