I bet Emma Watson has a bush that would make a 1970s porn star jealous.

Some really brilliant author or researcher or sociologist needs to write a book about 2016 and how intertwined [our film was] with Hillary [Clinton] and the anti-Hillary movement

Spoiler Alert: Not going to happen. Seriously, how narcissistic do you have to be to think that someone else is going to specifically write an entire book on that years from now?

No they exploded because they figured it’d at best be Bridesmaids and more likely worse. So you made the worst and most petty villain in comedic history as a basement dwelling nerd. Yeah, that’s for sure going to get the fans on your side. Can’t imagine when you write a hate letter to the fans why they didn’t like it.

i love how anyone that comments on any "SWJ" or left wing complaint its "right wing outrage culture" its the director of this movie that's making it partisan by blaming it and Hilary's "failure" on sexism. Saying ever director has an excuse if his/her movie tanks is a cop out. If he was saying the movie did bad because it came out the week of a hurricane or the studio didn't promote it, that's different than what this guy is saying.

It's crazy how out of touch some people are.

Not according to the underskirt pictures of her that leaked.

While not shaved, she appeared to have a well manicured landing strip.

Yeah, the director saying all this stuff is dumb. I have no idea why he said it.

I do have a pretty good idea of why the op would waste his and everyone else's time by posting it to this board.

You didn't have to waste your time by clicking on the post and replying. Seems like a germane topic for the board.

I liked how he threw black people and Obama in there to try and up the score on his victimhood bingo card. No, dipshit, the movie sucked.

The prevailing factor is that it wasn't very funny tho.

It was the only factor. It was man hating garbage jokes in a movie franchise that’s da base is mostly male. The climactic scene is the big ghost literally getting nut checked.

He directed some of my favorite episodes of The Office, and I thought Bridesmaids was pretty funny. But this was a bad movie. And Trump has nothing to do with it.

Every single gender swap movie has utterly failed.

Hollywood is completely out of ideas and recycling old IPs while also pushing feminist garbage was a huge fad for awhile.

Again, literally every director who has ever made a movie that didn't do as well as expected has a reason why it wasn't their fault. It's in the nature of that line of work as they are project to project and rely on their reputation in their community for future work.

I could buy this in the aftermath of release.

They are touting their failure back into the public limelight 4 years later because they can’t cope that their version is slated to be ignored as if it was never made.

That’s epic levels of denial projection.

That was 2017. 2016 was the perfect anti-Hillary storm. Keep up.

I’m loathe to say all this on Movie/TV Board but I didn’t start this thread. The democrats will never just admit that Rodham was/is an atrocious person and candidate that acted like she was entitled to be potus. No candidate in the history of our nation ever acted entitled to be our potus. Teddy Roosevelt didn’t even act entitled. When Rodham uttered that “basket of deplorables” line she was basically saying “if you don’t adore me you are a piece of crap”. People don’t like that man and I will say to my dying breath that Biden or the Bern would have won in 2016. But the dems will continue to blame Russia, chauvinism, and racism.
