It's not that bad of a movie.
But the movie business isn't like it used to be. Subpar movies could still do well enough at the "box office" to make decent money, years ago.
Not enough people go to the movies every single weekend like the old days, so unless you are a blockbuster, you aren't going to be that successful.
You see this with so many more movies going straight to stream right now. Just bypass the whole box office bullshite altogether.
