I, too, expected this thread to be a bunch of posters discussing why a man like Floyd is getting a biopic. He had such a positive influence on the black community.

It was amazing how parts of the country went from only being concerned about Covid to not giving a shite about Covid while parts of different cities burned on live tv because people that never gave a shite about Covid were allowed to roam the streets with almost zero consequences.
It was so bizarre
You had scientists and healthcare officials telling people to stay at home while also saying it was ok to go outside and protest. And they excused it because people were masked up. Even though most of them weren’t and there was zero social distancing. They literally were denying their own reality.
These protests over the last decade didn’t do shite for justice and police reform like they keep acting. Hell they even burned down some black businesses in the process. The entirety of 2020 was wild but in a bad way

I wonder who will play the role of his baby-mama that he beat the shite out of.

Didn’t you wash feet in the summer of 2020?

I, for one, think its great that black people will finally be well represented at the Academy Awards. I mean, this could be a sweep. Best picture, best actor, best supporting actor....name it.

Changed this country for the worse. Then, less than a year later people who didn’t give a shite about The Summer of Love, not the people that were hurt, not the businesses destroyed, all lost their collective mind because people went into the Capital. Hypocrisy at its finest, which is why I’ve never gave two shits about Jan 6.
and one side will never admit to how ridiculous and insane it all was.

Floyd’s daughter, Gianna Floyd, and her mother, Roxie Washington, are involved in the making of the film, serving as executive producers.
They say wokeness has killed comedy, but this might end up being the comedy film of the decade.

Not me. I was expecting more discussion of his acting turn as "Big Floyd the Landlord."
Posted on 5/23/24 at 11:19 pm to RLDSC FAN
Is this biopic going to pretend like he actually gave a shite about his family?

Avegno in Nola got on tv and tried to tell peole they would die from going to a high school graduation party. Then in the same press conference explained how to protest safely.
Just an all around dark time in our history.

I wonder if they'll put the part where he robbed a pregnant woman and put a gun to her stomach?
Or that time he was arrested for assault and robbery?
Or that time he was in porn?
I'm sure it will be unbiased and truthful...
